Good social experience, the room is very pleasant. Comes with an en-suite and the kitchens are of large size. Easy access to all areas and to the new campus at Waterside.

Great experience, basic room but did the job. I had an ensuite which was a good as sharing can at time be frustrating.

My room... damaged walls from previous students. Big enough for my stuff but clothes space is a joke as hardly any space to fit half my stuff in so was dressing all year round out of a suitcase as well as the slim wardrobe provided. Very annoying sound coming from inside the walls (pipes!) keeps me awake, wakes me and distracts me from revision.

The location is perfect, park Campus is very homely and green. Living in halls was a clean and friendly environment and I made friends for life. Improvements to halls could be the level of safety as anyone could easily walk in and out with not much surveillance. The rent of the room could be reduced as I believe you could have more modern interior for the money requested.

Halls are very old! With taps that are too hot so constantly burning yourself when washing up as the taps are separated. Room- didn’t have heating for a few months and pipes make the worse sounds during the night which wake me up and keep me awake. Door into flat isn’t automatical locked so have to lock it yourself and some flatmates of mine don’t this have resulted into food going missing. Interesting ‘wireless’ is rubbish.

Could do with modernising but had everything you need. At the beginning fbthe term it’s freezing until they turn the heating on in oct/sept but it’s all part of the experience. I wish I could go back and meet new people all over again.
