Quite a lot to do within the town. Plenty of shops over a compact area. Generally a very nice place to live. There are plenty of pubs, as well as shopping areas. However, not a lot to do outside of pubs and shopping.

It's a place that welcomes all students, plenty of workplace opportunities, plenty of small bars and cheap clubs with deals on so you know you'd have a good night out. Can always get food delivered so distance from cheap supermarkets doesn't matter. Plenty of student houses that are cheap and a short walk from the university.

I moved away from my hometown for university and already I can say that Norwich is the best city! It is absolutely beautiful, there are so many options for places to eat and shop and it is the best place to live. Everyone is so friendly and I've never seen a cleaner city centre! I would absolutely recommend this as the best place to live and I would even consider staying here permanently after I finish my degree.

UEA is in a great location, about 20 minute bus ride into the centre of Nordich from campus. Norwich city has 2 shopping malls, and a market place and high street full of great shops too. There are places to eat ranging from fast food to quirky and cute bistros to Jamie Oliver’s and high end restaurants. Value for money is good considering the size and business of Norwich. Lots of things to do and look at.

Norwich is the perfect size. There's nightlife, great food, a famous music scene, and history. It's also one ofnthe safest cities in the UK, so students can go out without worrying.

The uni is only 15 minutes bus from the shopping center, where I could get all kinds of clothes and groceries I need. There are a variety of food from all over the world to be offered: Chinese takeout, Italian, Japanese, Thai, Mediterranean, Indian, Spanish. If you prefer to cook there is a huge Hay Market, including an orient express for Asian preferences. The uni itself also have a whole chain of stores like bookstores, bank, grocery store, LCR for nights out, and of course a cafe.

A really beautiful city with one of everything that you could need. However, quite isolated. Highly recommend taking a car if you have one once you move out into houses- buses aren't the best. Lots of events and the nightlife is great, but a little dull once everyone goes home for holidays.

All the buildings are close together while everyone is very friendly. There are restaurants for everyone, while hundreds of shops to browse. Nightlife contains an array of styles from pub quizzes to nightclubs.

Norwich is a home away from home. With the creative hub, London, just 3 hours away and the sea just 30 minutes by bus, the city just keeps giving. The streets are safe and quiet with nightlife the peak of the day - converted houses into bars and a friendly university vibe everywhere. The transport is easy to all areas of the uk, and there’s evevn it’s own airport. There’s nothing negative about Norwich.

Norwich is a great city if you're more of a pub/bar crawl person than a clubbing person. Although there are a few nightclubs, there's no where near as many as many as a larger, more studenty city and from visiting other unis I found that we were completely ripped off with drink prices in Norwich. Uber also hasn't reached Norwich yet so getting home is a bit of a hassle and often involves lots of queuing and expensive taxi journeys. However something Norwich does excel in is pubs. There's a common fact that Norwich has a pub for every day of the year. There are many quirky independent bars and pubs from retro game bars with a dog, to bars with an upside down city on the ceiling. Pub crawls and quizzes are a must in Norwich. Daytime events wise, shopping is really good with both a large shopping centre and highstreet for mainstream shops and many restaurants and the famous Norwich Lanes with an array of boutique and independent shops.

Norwich is such a lovely city and I'm so happy I moved here! Everywhere is easy to get to by walking and the buses are cheap and can take you to some very cool places like the Sainsburys Centre or the Urban Jungle. There's so many places out here to eat, and despite the night life not being great as bigger cities, it still has something for everyone. It also has two giant shopping centres which is very handy.

Norwich is such an amazing city. It's so small and everything is within walking distance, with a great atmosphere and friendly people. It's also got everything you'd want - big shops, great pubs, lovely restaurants. Norwich is the place to be.

So many supermarkets, the city is amazing for a day out shopping with two malls and streets upon streets of shops. You can go sight seeing on an open roof bus. The value for money is amazing as well, with shops that sell at minimal prices and maximum quality! The clubbing life is brilliant too.

Nice campus in green environment but easy 20 min bus ride into city centre. Easy access to shopping centres and nightlife via bus number 25 and 26. Doing a full supermarket shop could have been easier as you have to either get the bus or walk about 25 minutes to local Aldi, but Asda and Sainsbury's deliveries really helped with this.
