Social experience is great, has a real community feel. Minor problems with room, as wasn't as advertised

The halls at UEA provides a good size bedroom with plenty of storage space. The great thing about the village is that you have your own bathroom and it’s cheaper than the on campus accommodation. The only down side is that if you are out at the back of the village it is a bit of a walk to lectures or the sports park and it can be rather quiet.

We got a new kitchen with an oven that year which was very good however the rooms were very outdated. It was far away from campus drama which I liked because I could escape from so much loud noise. The senior residents were great!

A ten/fifteen minutes walk into lectures in the morning BUT that is the only downside. Rooms are spacious with more than enough space for me to have a workspace, a drinks cabinet and bookcase and tv all together in there without it feeling cluttered. Plus an ensuite shower room, and a large kitchen to be shared across the flat of 8 students, all for a price cheaper than most of that on campus. And hey, the walking good for you anyways right?
