Peverell Halls are a great place to live if you are on Clifton campus for study, the area is great and the WiFi is very quick - average 100mb/s with a LAN cable. Rooms and shower are small, 3/5 *

Decent room size as I'm paying for a large en suite, en-suite is poor quality- sink is too small to use and bathroom floods every time I shower. Was told we'd have new kitchens when visiting the uni on open days but this isn't true. Very uncomfortable kitchen chairs and no sofa. WiFi has been down multiple times recently which is annoying

Very down experience. Had small windows which let in very little light. Small rooms and they made you pay for items that didn't seem to be broken by us.

The location of Peverell is ideal especially if you study on campus. However, the rooms need to be refurbished as they still have old style decor. Socially, peverell is great as everyone wants to mingle with one another.

The location isn't ideal but it wasn't too long to get to the city, the rooms weren't that modern, bit the kitchens have been refurbished and look brand new. The common rooms were okay as there was a TV and very comfortable couches and chairs. Overall the price was pretty standard for an en suite. However, the staff are absolutely lovely and super helpful!!

The rooms are very small and the building is in a desperate need of renovating, however there is a good sense of community among the block with older student guides to help you transition in your first week.

if i couldn't put a star i wouldn't the rooms were tiny and so expensive the kitchens were a dump with problems with somethings every week. the maintenance team were always round and the night manager would come up and tell you off for noise at 10pm, it's UNI!!!! the bathrooms were a disgrace i would have rather have been homeless.

Amazing people, staff all super friendly and helpful. Have not had any issues with the functionality of my bedroom or bathroom however during the first week our oven stopped working and we were given a broken toaster. These were both sorted within a few days though.

Well located on the clifton campus but not yo the city. Middle of the road accommodation with ensuite. Pretty dated decor in the rooms to be honest, but the kitchens are bewly renovated.

Great to be on campus but so expensive for what you get! Could do with a renovation but plenty of storage and space in the rooms.

Don’t do it to yourself, just live off campus. Honestly the shit these halls will put you through, from sewage coming out your drains to the cleaners breaking your stuff in the kitchen it’s not worth it, there are some pretty decent off campus places go for them instead, especially considering they are probably cheaper.

The biggest benefit is proximity to all lessons on Clifton campus. can literally wake up at 8:55 for a 9am lecture and get there on time. The staff are also more relaxed and laid back than new hall so can get away with more stuff than you would anywhere else. rooms are okay but the furniture inside is a bit tacky. kitchens are tiny and get messy very quickly. bathrooms are awful, very very small pods that will flood every time you shower if you are tall or fat because the water splashes out so will have to mop every time or have to have a paddle every time you want to go the toilet. the location to Tesco is like a 15 minute walk, Morrison's is like 20.they appear close but are deceptively far away because peverell is at the back of campus. tbh its very expensive for what it is, you really are paying for location to campus. buses are good though into the city but does take like a good 20/30 minutes depending on traffic. always parties going on within flats/blocks and youll probs make a lot of friends here. however the important thing to bear in mind when choosing between new hall/peverell is that the flat can be as nice as you want, if the flatmates are rubbish youre gonna hate it. everyone I know in new hall wants to move to peverell because it is just better. oh also the common rooms are rubbish and never used, and the washing machines are expensive and a bit rubbish.

Rooms very small dark and rundown, common room had broken chairs and sofas. Washing and drying machines faulty. Social life was great, building layout very good. Very overpriced for what it actually is.

Facilities are good but out kitchen is the only one of the whole site waiting for the revamp, absolutely ridiculous nothing works at all always calling maintenance

Personally I really like Peverel. It’s good value for money considering the facilities and location. I chose to come to Peverel as I was able to bring my car and the flats were only 6 people. I have made some life long friends here, as visiting people in other flats has been so easy. I really like Peverel and will be sad to leave it in the summer. Great memories made here!

Firstly, the location is ideal if you are studying on Clifton campus as it's literally a couple minutes walk to pretty much everywhere on site and being close to the library is pretty handy too. Each room is a decent size and comes with an onsuite. Rooms aren't all equal size though as room 6 is the smallest room in every flat so if possible try to be on the side opposite to the kitchen. The best thing about peverell is it's shape makes you feel like a little community. I know a few blocks have had film nights in the common areas and the walking distance from the point is good too.

Peverell Halls are a great place for first year students in my opinion. It’s a few minutes walk from all your lectures which is ideal, and it is very easy to make friends with the shared kitchens and how close you are to everyone. However after a while you find that the rooms are quite small, especially the toilet room and the bed, and the kitchen is quite small, and the facilities aren’t the greatest, but for the price the place as a whole is good.

Location is decent although a pain in the arse a a load of morrissons bags. Facilities are pretty meh, you have to go at weird times to use the washing machines. Social aspect is quality, better than snobby New Hall because everyone hates their room too much to stay in them.

It is way to expensive. There is not a proper kitchen where students can sit have have a meal with their flat mates, the bedrooms are tiny and very claustrophobic. If you shower, then be careful when go back to toilet as it is all flooded. Fire alarm goes off just because you burned your toast, which means frequent fire alarms in the middle of the night. WiFi signal is very bad.

Peverell Halls is the cheapeast accomadrion on Clifton campus so you can expect it to be not as good as new halls. It does the job and has enough stourage to fit everything I need, however for £125 a week it is still expensive and we have had several issues with wifi and electricity.

Good and does the job, however had several troubles with wifi, lights (power cuts) and drain blockage

Great location on the uni can roll out of bed and be at lectures in 5 mins. Plenty of social events on campus most nights either organised by halls, society’s or the student union. Rooms are small and a dated style but plenty of storage space for everything you could possibly need. A lot of money for the space your given but you pay to be that close to your lecture halls!

Loved it, great atmosphere and everyone's really friendly. Cheap laundry and decent sized rooms. Good Wi-Fi and bathroom. Kitchen has everything you need and all room doors are relatively thick so if you choose not to go out it won't be too loud.
