Glamorgan Court

The rooms overall are the right size for one person. The ensuite is a wetroom, which works well for the room. The desk and the wardrobe is a nice size. The bed could be a single double, and the structure is a bit uncomfortable. There is a mini-fridge which is very useful. It could do with more storage space. The showers are nice and hot but could do with more pressure. Bathroom is the right size. The kitchen could be a bit bigger, and the appliances given aren't that powerful. Could do with a bigger fridge for sharing. Nice room for storing kitchen utensils. Horrible walk up from lecture halls!

Pretty standard student halls tbh. Very social and a lot of parties. Kitchens are also surprisingly nice considering how old the buildings.

The room is size is great, only flaw is the small bed but then most halls have single beds. The cupboards and desk provide plenty of space for stuff and working. Radiator and window adjustable and decent - very rarely any issues. Cheap but decent en-suite with a big hot shower. Love having a little mini fridge in my room. Downside is the accommodation is at the top of an awful hill!

Very basic, minimalistic facilities. Location is good, very close to lecture halls on campus. However the facilities are usually faulty.

Love my wee bedroom and also accomodations staff - they are the best. They put me in with mature students so I have had the best first year here!

The hill makes it impossible for mobility impaired students or students with breathing difficulties to get to and from halls. The rooms are generally in good condition although some have issues with mold and damp. Mini fridges are useful and loved by most residents

Hill is a nightmare for students with any kind of mobility or breathing difficulties. Halls themselves are generally alright but issues brought up can take forever to fix. Had severe mold in the bathroom. Mini fridge in the room is really useful.

I was slightly disappointed when I was assigned my room in Glamorgan court. The room itself isn't great, very small. Overall I think that the blocks could do with a renovation. The major drawback was the single bed and mattress. When I first arrived there were springs poking out my mattress 😒 after asking accommodation to come have a look they replaced it the next day. Also, my shower is only hot really early in the morning or late at night. I guess this is cos everyone rinses the hot water at 8am when everyone gets up for lectures. I also hate the kitchen because it is always filthy, even after I spend hours cleaning it, never seems to make a difference. I'm getting kind of fed up of sweeping hoovering and mopping the floor every time. Also wish my flat mates would empty the bloody bins! I share with some.internarional students from Africa so we don't really have much in common. No one sits in the kitchen to eat rather just sit in their prison cell room. During freshers week, I sat by myself for one day. The next day I couldn't bear it so went and found some people to talk to, and now I am.really good friends with the flat above mine. We are living together next year in our house. The kitchen is disgusting because the floor is always so filthy. The stools to sit on are the most uncomfortable and Squeaky chairs you can imagine. Also it has a an equally uncomfortable sofa. Plus my flat mate smokes shisha all the time so it stinks like a bonfire most days. All in All, I am pretty fed up of living in my halls. The thing I like the most about my block is the brilliant views of the valley it looks over. It is nice to wake up to and go to sleep to at night, especially on a clear night

Brilliant bunch of people in my halls who all have a laugh! However, rooms are small and could be better maintained before moving in!

Old building but good facilities. Wet room is good. Desk for plenty of goods and good social life in halls

Fantastic experience and Glamorgan court are much better flats than mountain halls even thou they are the cheaper options, they are very social flats due to the layout of the rooms and kitchen. The best part of uni is getting to live with your friends.

Located at the top of a very steep hill is hard to access but it is decent quality for the money that you pay
