Close to town and Landsdowne campus. Lots of takeaway style food options nearby. TONS of places to eat in town 10 minute walk away. 5 minute walk to train station. Good security - I felt very safe living there! Maintenance was efficient if something broke. Ensuite bathroom which felt like such a luxury to me :) I miss that! One of the cheaper halls and definitely one of the best!

Honestly for what you pay for you get your moneys worth, common room is small so it isn't ideal if you want to have a flat party but for you and your flat mates its good. Bathroom is tiny and shower blocks easily. Windows leak if its rainy night and its outside maintenance who fix that. Most importantly from what I gather chesil is the cheapest for washing your clothes out of all the student accommodation just make sure you bring decent detergent as they aren't perfect.

Location is excellent as a healthcare student - university is a 10 minute walk maxiumum around the corner. The atmosphere in these halls are fairly quiet - if I want to socialise I tend to go across to another accommodation, but for nights when I need to sleep it is good. Facilities are decent, although washing machines are slightly overpriced for a very average service, and it has been a ball ache to to get a light fixed in my shower room (which is still an issue, 7 weeks into term). However, my room is spacious with a good sized desk, wardrobe and drawers, and plenty of lighting.

The halls are nice and in a very good location. What I like about it the most is that I have my own space and privacy in my room and at the same time I can mingle with my fellow flatmates and make new friends. The location is good you can maneuver around easily.

Excellent location, close to town and the beach, and all the halls are really close together. Quiet so easy to do work however the lay out of the halls means it’s hard to get to know other people living there.

Rude security staff, that are unhelpful and miserable. Chesil are so strict you will struggle to have a social life in the Halls. The beds are very uncomfortable, you can't sit up in the bed because the matress slips off the bed frame.

Everything generally really good However bad at sorting flatmate disputes, I had to call security over a fight and they took 20 mins to come and nothing came of it Common room is all old and breaking Res life could do more events and more inclusive events
