St. Patrick's is literally one of the worst halls to be in, my first night there someone damaged the communal door and we were all charged for it. Was there first year, people would be unbearably loud especially nights that fell on club days. The kitchen is ridiculously small and is never cleaned. The location is far from catered facilities that open late / on weekends.

I lived in St pats in 2016/17 in new court. Although the room weren't the nicest on campus and the kitchens were awful I really enjoyed the experience of living in pats with access to everybody's room without needing key cards I met loads of people who I'm still mates with

Unlike many halls I've seen, St Patrick's wasn't separated into separate blocks but instead was one big building. All the rooms were accessible by long corridors in three levels. Each set of around 8 rooms had a small kitchen and two bathrooms, and rooms on the bottom floor had access to living rooms. As the hall was catered, the kitchen was adequate with enough facilities to cater for our needs. The cafe to get food was at a good location from the hall, 1 mins walk, but wasn't open on the weekend so that meant walking a lot further onto campus. The rooms were a good size, and the long corridors meant that meeting people from all over the halls was much easier.

The location of st pats isn’t the best, being off campus. 15 mins walk to closest lectures. However social side is great as the hotel - like layout leaves no locked doors between blocks and floors. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my year.

I had such a good time in St Pats! Definitely one of the most social halls as you really get to know everyone, you'll get used to seeing people in sham (where you'll eat most of your meals) and all around really. I came with super low expectations because of some reviews on line but my friends and I (as well as many others) all came to love it and have an amazing first year!

Interconnected blocks in new court meant it was very social in corridors but no actual social space. Location is 20 mins away from main campus which is quite inconvenient to get to lectures but only 10 mins on bus to get to main town and right opposite the university medical practice.
