This is a great city with a good university, plenary of nightlife and eaterys and all withbij walking distance from campuses and accommodation. You also have the benefit of being by the sea and river providing good views and nice walks.

I love being in Sunderland for university, the town has a great variety of shops available in bridges and there's plenty of bars and clubs for great night out. Everything is close enough together to walk between or even if you need a taxi there's plenty of cheap services to use

Living in Sunderland is pretty chill. There is a lot to do in the neighbouring towns too. With access to the Metro and bus services you're only about 20 minutes away from Newcastle which is much, much better. Sunderland has the River Wear where I have been magnet fishing recently, I managed to recover a bike! Although it was missing wheels, the seat and handle bars. I'm hoping I can get a free voucher so I can go to Amsterdam on the cheap, Amsterdam is a much nicer city than Newcastle or Sunderland - pro tip: don't take the boat.

The transport links in Sunderland make getting around pretty easy. Having a bus service connecting the campus’s and a metro system.

The location of my uni is amazing. Right next to the river wear and the campus and uni halls are very close. It is such a beautiful place to live and to be a tourist in.

Sunderland is a average sized city and you’re never more than 30 mins away from the city centre. The nightlife is growing and not too shabby. Alot of Sunderland is seeing rennovation and investment which is highly appreciated by many. The Bridges shopping centre is alright for everyday needs and the odd browse. If you have the money there is things to do in and around the area, but for some without or short, it can be quite restrictive although not impossible with some imagination. For the uni lifestyle Sunderland is a great little city to study in and suits most down to a “T”.

City is alright, good nightlife, lots of shops all around. Not too busy. Has the occasional troublemakers around nighttime. Uni is in a good central location, with St. Peters Campus not too far away and still close to city center.

Its a small city, with nothing to much to see. For shooping Bridges is the right choose, it has some good shops such as topman, river island, primark, tkmaxx etc.

Sunderland is a small town which doesn't have lots of entertainment. However, if you looking for a budget place. It is a good choice.

Sunderland is entered around the shopping centre, the bridges. a fair amount of shops are there. There is also a Tesco extra and a few other larger shops on the end of town near st.peters campus. there are enough pubs/clubs/bars for there to be a fun night out as well.

Excellent value for money and enough things to do, it can sometimes get boring if you're looking for a night out but there's easy and affordable access to Newcastle for that. And it's also easy to reach the metro centre for shopping. Plenty of food places, mainly cheaper takeaways but some expensive places too for a treat.

Sunderland is such a boring place. You can't find much activities and entertainments in town. The food is ok but dont have much choices. If you want to shopping, I would suggest that you rather go to Newcastle.

Transport is brilliant, a great and comfortable way to travel around the city however most buses end at 11/12pm. Nights out are great and fun but most important cheap! Shopping is great, there are a range of different shops in the city center including a lot of big names, Topshop, primark, H&M, next and so on. There are a lot of different places to eat out all different cuisines. Sunderland is great for money, it is cheap place to eat and live. There is a lot of entertainment. Cinemas, bowling alleys, pubs etc. The best is the Stadium of Light where you can watch Sunderland AFC play.

Sunderland is a perfect student city. Local amenities include bars, shopping centre, restaurants and student accommodation. The weekend nightlife is very eventful and enjoyable, with various student friendly bars. There are plenty food places from fast food to restaurants. There is a variety of shops in the shopping centre.

Most restaurants within this town serve lovely fresh food with is usually for a good price. Your able to see a variety of things within this area as such as the Christmas markets where your able to see all sorts of things and purchase these things. If your wanting to see the latest movies there is also a cinema where your able to go catch them.

Above average night life and a short journey away from Newcastle if that's more to your style. Wide selection of restaurants and bars. Public transport is really easy to use and city isn't expensive.
