City Campus

The accomadation is very close to the city centre about 10 mins walk, there is nearby takeaway shops and supermarkets right next doot which is useful if you get hungry at 2 am. The standard room is okay but it's like a box room with single beds and have to share kitchen and bathroom however some people can't clean after themselves, but on the ensuite rooms they are better looking, bigger and have your own bathroom so it's cleaner that but still share kitchen. You can meet people very easily within the accommodation and others if there is a social night is always friendly especially if you are coming and moving from a different city and don't know anyone. So overall prefer ensuite rooms than the standard but everything else is all good.

The room is quite decently sized for student accommodation, including a single bed, wardrobe, desk and shelves. There is a lot of storage; under the bed and on top of the shelves and wardrobe. The bathroom is very large, however it's somewhat outdated. There is a vanity light in the mirror which is very nice. The kitchen has lots of storage, However it is quite small and includs one single sofa for a flat of 5 people and a breakfast bar with just 4 seats as there isn't enough room for any more seats.

I'm in standard accommodation, Bedford house. The rooms are a decently sized with a large desk, draws, wardrobe and bookshelf. You also get a very large pin board with a sink. They are quite nice although outdated slightly. The shower is very nice and it along with the toilet is cleaned regularly by the onsite staff. It is located right next to asda, Iceland, home bargins and a jd gym which is very convenient for students however it is also situated next to the molineux stadium so can be quite loud and busy during match days

5-10 min walk to City campuses, 5 min walk from nearest supermarket, 15 min walk from town centre. 24hr security. Gated parking. Launderette on site.

Firstly the rent is too expensive for students and the reception staff are sometimes not really helpful. On the positive side I like the fact Asda is close by and uni not a 5-20mins walk (depends on how fast you walk).

Firsty the location probably the best thing about the halls as it is very close to campus and there is also a choice of a couple of halls including within the uni accommodation but unfortunately it is picked at random rather than stufents given a choice to pick. The facilities are not the best average at best but everything is provides in terms of kitchen and bathroom the one problem is electricity bill is a sepetate cost you would have to pay which can get a bit expensive. In terms of the social experience there are many bars/clubs and restaurant but the area itself is not aesthetically pleasing and there are many homeless people and crimes. The room is adequate for studying don't expect anything big literally just a basic room.

I found my university accommodation very last minute, after going through clearing. My room was a single room, on a corridor with 5 other people. We all shared a shower room, a toilet, and a fairly small kitchen, with a laundrette shared between all of the blocks of flats. The road itself that the halls were on wrrthe secure, having cctv and a gate which could only be opened by your student card. There were always plenty of spaces to park, and enough for visitors. The street was a 2 minute walk from Asda, and between 5-10 minutes from the university. Great place to live for first year!

The location was brilliant, could do with some more social meet ups and events. Overall brilliant spot absolutely loved my time there.

The ensuite accommodation is quite expensive for what it is, the kitchens are nice but the rooms and corridors look really dull, there are attractive features that coming with booking this accommodation which include free off peak university gym access and use of football and basketball facilities.

The halls here barely hold together. It Looks used, like they buy new fridges and rebuff the paint every year. Although it’s great who you meet there, there are cheaper better accommodations in town.

The halls don't have a modern vibe it's more like a prison cell. The corridors echo noise ridiculously, so coming home at 4am and cooking a pizza doesn't necessarily go down well with your flat mates

Very good location, less than 10 minute walk from Campus and right next door to a main supermarket. Has laundry services but more would be better, also the fact that they've started charging for this service is an unexpected expense. Good range of sport and other recreational facilities. Security could be tighter.

The location is perfect for those who have lecture in city. It is only a short walk to the main university building which is situated within Wolverhampton town centre. For those who have to travel to Telford or Walsall city campus is still perfect as situated just outside of halls is a free bus service proved by the university to both these locations. The atmosphere in city campus is great with people always walking around a little groups of friends using the outside space as a social space, there is always something going on. With it being located right next to a 24 hour ASDA makes it a perfect location for any student.

Room sixe is ok, smaller than normal but the location is amazing, 5 minutes from lectures, asda is a 2 second walk away and the residential staff are friendly and always willing to help if you need it.

Conditions are terrible, cold, no opening Windows, homeless people sleeping in door ways. Location is great, really close to uni. Internet is terrible, keeps going down or websites blocked. The social areas are good though.

I really love the city campus as everything is within walking distance including accommodation, train/bus station, town centre and leisure facilities

The walls are so thin you can hear the lights when they are switched on in the other room. The tiles are actually falling off the walls in the bathroom and the taps never stop dripping. The bed is of such bad quality that it has actually led to me having back problems. The wifi didn't work for the first two months despite them saying in the first week they were 'working on it'. As for the social area there really isn't one its just a small kitchen with dodgy fridges. The Uni itself has such great facilities and I feel the student accommodation really lets it down.
