I really enjoyed being in halls in general asnit allowed me to make friends and meet the flatmates I will have for the next two years. The university put me in a flat with people who were on my course which was great, as I knew people before I went to lectures. The flat itself was overpriced and there were exposed wires and plaster flaking off the walls. It was dirty and nothing really worked properly but overall, the experience was worth it.

Close to the University but needs major updating. The other block of flats that cost the same each week had been renovated recently. Exposed wires and holes in the walls and six seats at the dinner table for a flat of 7. One of my flat mates has a camp bed to sleep in. Residential ambassadors let themselves in and help themselves to your tea and coffee. Also right next to the hockey pitch so perfect for early morning wake ups.

Great that its on the main campus, close to the laundry room, good sized flats so its not too overwelming, rooms and kitchen area are all decently big! However, I was put in a show flat used on open days and wasn’t told.

Lovely cleaners, but William Morris is a bit dirty and less new compared to Vesta Tilley which was redone the year before I lived there (2017) but charged at the same rate. All the sofas and chairs etc are horridly dirty to the point where if you sit down you feel dirty for sitting on it. Pretty expensive for single with ensuite. I had crazy flat mates, one smashed his head in on a regular basis so constantly had to call Secuirity, one used to chase us with knifes but the others were ok. The internet was never working and nearly almost getting ‘fixed’ or ‘improved’. Things kept breaking so matenince got called all the time including our oven, toilet also the fan covered the place in dust.
