The room is clean and warm. However the carpets and curtains are not the nicest. Location is great, only 5 mins walk to nisa and libery, 20 mins to aldi and everywhere is close. Social Areas such as bar could be improved as its not open durning the day. Value for money is okay, but the prise is really high (st johns uni accomondations are much cheeper and they're located is in town, with the same condition or even nicer). The kitchen could be more cozy as you cant feel homely.

It was gorgeous but the kitchen was not nice. It was very expensive and the cheapest en suite option. Perhaps if there were somewhere cheaper but with an ensuite, it'd be much preferred

Fairfax house in Vanbrugh college is slightly off campus and closer to town so it has a good location. However it is a very old building so the facilities look a bit run down compared to the newer buildings.

Le Page court rooms are basic and the kitchen size is unreasonably small. Quite expensive for what it is but the location is perfect.

It's exactly what I was expecting from halls. While there are a few issues they get fixed if you ask or you can learn to live with them if they're not too severe.

Best rooms and kitchen on campus for a reasonable price, however social areas lacking and far away. Laundering is a massive pain as there are only four washers for at least 300 people.

I love my ensuite room, as it gives me privacy. I also love living with other people, as it prevents me from getting too lonely or bogged down in work. I’ve made really good friends in my flat that I hope will continue to be as kind and friendly as they are.

the location is perfect for every part of uni life, close to all lecture halls and the bus stop for going into town.

Eric Milner-White Court: As with most types of accommodation, how happy you are here really depends on the people you’re living with. The long, 40 room corridor design with one shared common room per floor means that there is a huge social focus to this block - and there’s no escape from the noise that comes with that! In general, the accommodation is very basic but usually well maintained (apart from kitchen appliances).

Horrible and old and dated and my sink was broken and the kitchens were tiny and disgusting all the time.

Vanbrugh is really close to my course subject and also the closest to the bus stop. If you lose your key its super close to the info Centre. Our block is amazing and because we are in a court yard, we all have flat parties together. My room is huge and homely and I love sharing a kitchen and cooking together.

Best location right new to the bus stop, main campus and court yard. All the blocks are close by so we have flat parties together. My room is huge and so homely and I love sharing a kitchen.

I lived in Eric Milner A and it's not a very pleasent building at all. The only upsides I could fine was location as its a 2 minute walk from the electronics building and that it had catered breakfast and dinner. Apart from that it wasnt very good accomodation at all. The heating didnt do very much all the windows were single glazes with holes round the frame which the univeristy wouldnt replace and I had to fill with bluetac to keep some heat in. The kitchen was tiny with an even smaller freezer which was a massive incovinence when you only need to cook on weekends. The only social space was in the middle of the building and was shared between the entire floor so around 150 people. It would get trashed and no one one tidy it back up.

Best halls in the uni in my opinion. I’m in Donald Barron which is ‘vanbrugh paradise’ so I’m lucky to be in one of the best blocks of the college. Rooms are a good size with lots of storage and a decently sized bathroom (ensuite). The location is perfect as we’re almost at the centre of Hes West so everything is practically on your doorstep. The kitchens are massive which is great for socialising as there’s space for everyone to be in there at once, and great for flat parties in a pretty social college.

great location on west campus, very close to other buildings where lectures are and close to the shops and cafeteria if you are on catered.
