Tv & Radio Appearances

In June 2014, Student Hut's founder Dan Lever appeared on BBC Breakfast in a debate centred on university students' satisfaction and higher education standards since the rise of tuition fees in 2012. Debating with UCU President, Simon Renton,  Dan represented the students' viewpoint and considered the importance of research when choosing a university course.

In the same month, Student Hut founder Dan Lever made an appearance on BBC Daily Politics alongside the UK Education Minister, David Willets, discussing the cost of university fees, rising debts, and more complaints about the quality of higher education. During the broadcast, Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn described Student Hut as being 'like TripAdvisor for universities'.

Dan Lever was also interviewed live on BBC Look East regional news offering expertise and advice to prospective students who are considering their university choices.

Student Hut has contributed to higher education debate on national radio and featured on a BBC Radio 4 broadcast in June 2014 discussing student complaints and educational standards.
