The campus has loads of amenities on site and most university building will have a cafe or small shop on site. There is such a wide variety of clubs and societies to join that anyone can be suited to do. My course is amazing and I love how organised they are.

Course review , 14/05/2017

Sociology at Bangor University is absolutely incredible. The course topics are interesting and in-depth, looking at a variety of differemt aspects, from the original founders of sociology and its theories, all the way to the present where you have class discussions of things in the news, such as Brexit or the US elections, and everything in between.
The staff are all published experts in their fields and are always more than happy to help in any way they can.
Plus, if you aren't a fan of exams then this is the course for you!

I feel like the information they give you on open days is nothing like the modules you do. This year has been hard and I've struggled with the texts that have been set as they're usually not my thing. However, the support I've received is phenomenal and that is what has motivated me, to see how passionate these lectures are about the stuff they teach it ends up rubbing off on you.

Course module review - Organismal Diversity, 10/03/2018

Interesting content, with enthusiastic and easily followed lecturers. Didn't quite all relate to my degree as several other biology based degrees have the same module, so some lectures seemed slightly dull. Assesments by open book online tests where helpful to learn what you need to  know and what the exam questions will be like. The end exam was quite nice, it was multiple choice without negative scoring, so isn't too difficult as long as you study.

Course module review - Principles of Conservation, 11/05/2016

This module was the one which I have enjoyed the most during my time at the university. The content is set out well to spread the gain of knowledge throughout the year and the unique asessment methods provide oppertunities for students who may not necessarily thrive in exams to shine. Furthermore the practicle side of the course is informative and complete portreying difficult concepts in an easy way.
