Great location, everything essential is within walking distance! The lecturers and staff are good but there have been a few times where things just haven’t been organised properly. Student union and career services are great, always giving out freebies and putting on workshops.

The staff are really supportive. They provide a great working environment and will do their best to adapt to help the students.

I’m studying Medical Sciences. Overall, the university is really good! The only downside is that since Bangor is a small city, there isn’t much places to go around here!

This is a small campus based university perfect if you are not the biggest fan of the hustle of a crazy city. Bangor is the perfect place for a marine biology based course with great state of the art facilities that will opens up many doors to a future career in the subject. The campus itself is close knit and close together making it easy to navigate and get from lecture to lecture quickly. The town itself is a beautiful traditional welsh city sap bang on the beautiful welsh coastline.

The campuses with accommodation in are pretty nice, it's easy to get about and find where you need to be, none of the uni buildings are too far away and there's plenty of pubs about

I have loved my time in Bangor. The lecturers are fantastic and the pastoral support is second to none.

I take Music, it's such a good course. Different univerities offer different things but this seems to cater for everyone. The music block is modern and has lots of equipment and the staff are excellent. The campus itself is picturesque with its historical building but then also modern with the likes of Pontio.

Really enjoying my zoology course. The lecturers are extremely enthusiastic and it's a subject I've always dreamed of studying.

The facilities are excellent here but the lack of support leaves a lot to be desired. Some Welsh teachers clearly favour welsh students which can be a huge issue. As well as this, some course have 400 students per lecture meaning that reading of a slide in a big lecture theatre is tiresome and inefficient.

I thoroughly enjoy studying at Bangor university as facilities are superb. The staff are friendly and available to answer any queries. There are multiple study areas and the library is full of resources to help towards studying towards my degree. The views from the building of the city of Bangor is unreal and beautiful. The overall feeling of Bangor University is a relaxing and friendly one.

An enjoyable experience, great societys most of which are payed for by the uni meaning you can join multiple and go to a few events of each. Teaching facility's were good however some of the cource lacked organisation and getting meetings with my dissertation tutor was hard at times.

Everything about this university is absolutely phenomenal, the area, the campus, the people, the lecturers and the atmosphere! You wont regret coming here, the services are insane, and did i mention society's are free to join?? Bangor is 1 of the 2 Universitys where societies are free to join, so you'd be a fool not to consider coming here for university

The city of Bangor is very small and therefore all the university buildings are within walking distance from everywhere. The building itself is old but all the rooms are very modern and up to date. The language courses are great at Bangor.

Brilliant university, very helpful staff, fantastic facilities available. The students union is very helpful and informative, the student support on offer is outstanding and my course is spot on

I am situated on the Healthcare campus in wrexham, not the usual campus in Bangor itself. It is a small campus but the support from lecturers in the department is a lot more personalised due to its smaller nature. There is lots of opportunities for support throughout the course. There could do with being more clubs on the wrexham campus for students to join but to be honest with the healthcare courses we study, there isn't much time for societies unlike other courses due to placement hours and commitments to uni. Overall I have enjoyed my time at Bangor uni, they have prepared me for a future of nursing

My overall university experience was a good one. I was on the Wrexham campus rather than the Bangor one so there were much less facilities and only two societies which students started while we were in our 2nd year. It would be great if there were some more uni experiences like that. But apart from that we learned a lot, were well supported while at the same time given tools to be independent. I would do a masters here.

Bangor University is amazing. The facilities here are fantastic, they have specialised technology and equipment for almost every department & school. The campus is beautiful, the architecture of the Main Arts building is so Hogwarts-esque! And the people of Bangor, the students, and the lecturers are just so kind, funny and welcoming to everyone they meet.

My favourite part was the "open door policy" which meant, we were encouraged to go see the lecturers if we were having any trouble understanding the lectures. Moreover, we were all assigned tutors with whom we could discuss personal problems or any problems at all that arise during our time at uni.

Great location, teaching style and fun atmosphere. The tutors take the time to get to know the students and put in alot of effort to help us figure out our path in university and where we want it to lead.
