The campus is constantly developing and there is more space being added each year to accomodate the students. The organisation of my course (BA English Literature) has been impeccable with set deadlines that we are aware of from the beginning of the semester and therefore there are no surprises and we are able to be prepared. Lecturers are friendly and helpful and always available to provide feedback on anything you ask them for. I have truly enjoyed my time on this course and at this university and I will miss it.

Lovely campus, great facilities and a great number of courses to choose from. There is also an amazing visual communications school within the university, which caters to all the creative students needs. As a creative student it allows you to expand your creative knowledge and skills, you also can learn and collaborate with students from various creative disciplines.

Course review , 30/05/2017

The structure is poor. We have too many students on our course and in our year. Our class is too large to fit into a lecture theatre so we have to sit in an IMAX cinema for lectures with no tables and pathetically dim lighting. Puebla lecturers do not respond frequently to emails and even less frequently are in their offices when they've told us they would be. We have Formative assessments to allow for feedback but they do not give us a grade of percentage so we have no idea how we are doing with the course until the end of the year.

Course module review - Studying Language, 14/02/2017

Submitted by Anonymous on

Studying Language at Birmingham City University is an eye opening course for sure. If you didn't take English Language at A level you may find it a bit alien to begin with as they start to dive into topics such as Old English and phonetics but it all helps to shape your knowledge in a way that assists the rest of your degree and is generally interesting and engaging.

Course module review - Independent Study, 09/02/2017

Independent study was a great assignment that you could do on any area within education. I chose a assessment and looked into Year 6 testing and how this is so narrow for the children.

You had a tutor for whatever topic you chose who advised you and looked at parts of you work for advice and guidance.

It's a double module and gives you a great insight into education.
