Freshers week was fun, there was a lot of activities to take part in. My personal favourite was freshers fair. Though it was my favourite, I was annoyed that people kept coming back to the freshers fair and getting more freebies. This meant that we some of the freebies were finished before the rest of us can get hold of it.

The events put on each day and night were really great! These events varied from a silent disco to a zoo party to a foam party! Having a club on campus as well as the SU was great! With a club less than 1 mile from university.

Freshers week was very interesting as I was exploring the university for the first time properly with my friend where I got to experience and take part in many events. Going to events during the week allowed me to meet new people and attending events such as Freshers Fair gave me the chance to sign up for different clubs and societies that I may not have considered previously. It was most likely the best week of university as there was no workload, just having fun. Freshers week was extremely useful as everyone was in the same boat, just getting used to the university and meeting people.

Moving into halls was amazing! Moved in with a lot of cool people, drank lots and made lots of new friends. Ended up on unistory, play football in the flat and everyone loves the party. We all go out together a lot and have some laugh. The best flat on campus.

I moved in to isambard halls with 8 other engineering students! This has by far been the best year of uni so far, with freshers week taking place completely within the flat, including far too much (yet not enough) alcohol, freshers week was great!

Freshers is very standard! Most nights are the same with slightly different dress codes. Drinks should be a lot cheaper. Think there should be more nights in locos and deals and things like that.

Freshers' week in Brunel is the best thing ever. When you arrive it's full of student ambassadors helping you to know where to go. They do some welcome talks where you meet lots of people who are in the same situation. On the second day it's Freshers' Fair, where you have more then 100 societies or sports clubs you can join. And the best thing is that there are parties in Brunel's nightclub every single night. They even have a special pass for Freshers for getting access for almost 15 parties for a super good price.

There was not a lot to do in the daytime especially if you did not get a list of activities. The nightlife was the same stuff over and over again so there was not much difference after a few nights.

I loved Fresher’s week. I met my now boyfriend on the second day. We both had groups and thanks to all the events we mix them together and became a massive group. All the parties and new things were so amazing!

The freshers week at Brunel University was a pleasant experience with loads of new people to meet and befriend. The club at University campus had great music and one free drink at the freshers night. Overall had a great first week at my university and didn't feel like I was forgotten because I was a fresher.

This has been fun because i have become more sociable by meeting new people and making bonds with people who have similar interest as me. This has aldo taught me to be very independent and set myself limits and try making sure i am organised.

When I moved in I felt very welcomed and I settled fairly quick. However the events that took place within the week were a little disappointing. I felt like they weren't advertised very well as I didn't know they were happening. The ones I did see were boring and there wasn't much variation between them. Although the freshers fair was good and informative.
