The university has made a lot of modern changes to their buildings making it more attractive to students. The university has a really nice area for students to socialise, get food and a quiet zone for us to sleep or chill. Sometimes the general organisation in the university of events or on my course can be off but it's not the worst. I have not used the sports or careers facilities so I cannot comment on them.

Course review , 07/08/2017

The course is both interesting and relevant to contemporary research topics. Some modules challenge you a lot and help make you into a well wounded individual.

The teaching is a mix of labs, lectures and workshops. All teaching staff are clearly passionate about their subject and are always there to help.

You are examined using problem based learning, essays, lab reports, tests and exams.

I really enjoy my course and choosing Coventry University was the best decision I have made.

The content that is being taught in this module is really enlighting. The various modules included thus far have really given me a good idea of what Civil Engineering Industry is about. Some of the teaching sessions can be improved but generally it's good. However, for most of the modules it requires alot of extra work outside of class hours which can be really stressful at times.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time studying this degree as it has allowed me to gain a degree while starting a business and being allowed the freedom to do so.
Additionally, the course content covers a wide range from marketing, finances and legal all things needed to run a business.
The university is excellent, many funding opportunities/competitions to enhance your business. It is very innovative and won lots
of awards and is number 15 in the U.K. And won uni of the year last year- why wouldn't you want to study at Coventry?

Course module review - Clinical Physiology, 07/02/2017

Staff are on hand whenever you need them, however this module is unique in the problem based learning technique it uses and the level of group work you partake in.
This level of group work can be daunting at first but it is extremely valuable and provides you with skills along the way that you didn't realise you were picking up, there are also some extremely high marks to be earnt if you give enough time and effort to it.

Course module review - Globalisation and Emerging Markets, 21/05/2016

Submitted by Anonymous on

This module is by far the most useful and interesting. The module leader always coes up with new information an ways to challenge and catch our attention.
She has even asked for feedback and then acted accordingly.
It is really useful to learn what other countries do especially in the business sectors.

Course module review - Developing Academic and Professional Skills for Economists 3, 20/05/2016

Submitted by Anonymous on

This module is a mandatory module for everybody. This module has to be taken once every year.

This module in first year focuses mainly on developing academic skills. This includes learning how to correctly structure academic essays, presentations and how to correctly reference for assessments. Professors also give us tips on presenting.

To develop professional skills we were encouraged to join websites such as prospects and milkround so as to get us interested in internships from the start.
