The voices society has been a very fun and educational experience where I have been able to meet a diverse array of students and participate in workshops that helped developed my skills in acting and spoken words. It has also given me the confidence to social more in the outside world where I haven't been able to do so in the past. They hold weekly workshops on a Friday at 6pm to 8 and all the workshops are enjoyable and very different giving new experience for not just me but the society as a whole. I have access to a wide range of equipments in order for the society to run their workshops smoothly; including a piano, computers, a dance studio, speakers, projecters and much more. The committee members are very articulate in the way they speak and the workshops they provide are well organised. Well for the events they hold an open mic night every couple of months which are open too the public and members of the society can participate in the event. They also hold semi-frequent social get togethers such as field trips to different universities holding similar events related to the society, meals, house parties, game nights etc. It's been really great being apart of this society and I will definitely be a member next year! :)

Great way to build your confidence especially since people are so social and welcoming you begin to gain social skills and great friends. It's like you're all in one big family
