Very disappointing overall. The university staff weren’t particularly friendly with my head lecturer being an egotistical bully who singled me out on multiple occasions. While the facilities and resources were impressive, everything was heavily restricted, being very look but don’t touch. Ended up leaving after the one year. Just wasn’t worth it.

The three campuses are all great with all lecture theatres/tutorial rooms very modern and well equipped. Library is open for long hours with plenty of spaces to work (Merchiston is even open 24 hours) and this is great if you're the kind of person that is most productive at night or need to fit your studying around other aspects of life!

I applied to this course because it was the only degree I could find in Scotland with a 100% marketing focus. Overall, I have found the course content and teaching quality to be great and I have enjoyed most of the modules. The feedback on assessments is usually very good, and most modules usually only involve 2 assessments. I'm not going into marketing when I graduate (my grad scheme is in finance), however, I think my degree has given me a good understanding of business in general which I think will be useful regardless of the direction one chooses.

Napier university is great for employability with a good careers team in the business school but the grading system, module selection processes and general standard of teaching and examination makes me wish I chose another university.

When I first started looking at universities I was unsure of which to choose. I had considered going to Edinburgh Napier as the city is fantastic. Now I've been here for 3 years I do not regret it one bit. The teachers are all very helpful and the modules a good quality and are kept up-to-date. It also helps that halls were of good quality a personal life here is fantastic with plenty of things to do!

Course module review - Healthy Lives , 27/04/2016

There is plenty of information for you to get a good mark in this module however I didn't think there was enough guidance in how to answer what they were looking for. The exam is a 30 minute talk with you and another student talking about a fictional patient and there needs in a primary health care setting using health care tools and assessments. It's easy to talk for hours about the physical implications of lifestyle factors such as smoking and obesity but you also have to talk about how you can get them to see change and make a change.
