BA (Hons) English Literature
4.0 out of 5 stars based on 1 review

For the most part I have greatly enjoyed my first year of experience studying English Lit. The course is quite fast paced as they want you to try a bit of everything so that you're better equipped to choose your own modules in the following years. We studied a bit of everything from films, plays, poetry and novels from a variety of eras.

the teaching can be unpredictable and a lot of the content is self taught. however the subject matter is largley interesting , not all modules can be chosen and some are better than others, but it is a very good overview of relevant concepts and highley applicaple to the modern day environment. i think i could get a job on the basis of what i have learned

BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science
5.0 out of 5 stars based on 1 review

Biomedical Science at Lancaster University is very intriging. Most of your hours are spent in lectures and in laboratory for practicals. There are also workshops that aim to provide more knowledge with practical methods to enhance your understanding of concepts. The method of assessment comprises of a mixture of short answer tests, true or false tests, essays, and mostly coursework. Every student has a personal tutor (which could be one of your lectures) to help you during your whole undergraduate career.

Principles of Employment Law
5.0 out of 5 stars based on 1 review

Employment law is something that will affect us all at some point in our lives, and the employment law course at Lancaster is designed with that in mind. We are taught and examined on a very practical basis, which is very useful as law can often be theoretical and abstract.

A superb module taught by the excellent Professor Peter Corvi. Extremely clear presentation of material, and engaging treatment of fundamental financial topics. Throughly recommended for anyone, not necessarily from Economics/Business School background for a deeper understanding of finance.
