The university is located in a excellent location where the trains are and buses are running all the time efficiently. In my opinion south bank is a very good university because of the facilities they provide for the course, student union team are great and the employability team is great too.

They do not give bursary to students from poor backgrounds. It feels like they don’t check the informations for the students who fit for that criteria.

Right in the heart of London, surrounded by every famous land mark and an easy walk or trip to everywhere else LSBU is in the perfect location for the creative. The uni is friendly, diverse and inclusive and full of real life opportunities. Lecturers can be looked up to as creatives doing well in their respective fields even outside of uni. The student union is constantly pulling new events to include everyone and keep things exciting. The facilities are top knotch especially for film and drama students with equipment and studios readily available to all.

Course review , 25/05/2017

The course i was studying at south bank in all honesty was a waste of time, the stuff being taught in my course was more or les the same stuff i learnt in sixth form. Theirs no support system or any type of help from the lecturers, they teach you badly and then leave simple. They dont even bother to try and learn your name. Uni there felt very lonely and the coursework was so simple.

So far only reached second semester of year 2. However year one was helpful in setting a foundation in terms of presentation, referencing skills, and the use of working in a team. First year modules focused on innovation in the 21st century and how important innovation is, the basics of marketing from swot analysis to pestle. It also consisted of focus on strategy and economics and the structure and culture of an organisation. Also learnt some accounting which was helpful in understanding bookkeeping and profit and loss sheet.

Course module review - The Science & Technology of Fermentation, 11/05/2016

This is a third year module and looks specifically at specialist breads. This module is fantastically taught, has a hard but fair exam and is extremely usefully. From sourdough starters to fancy breads this module covers a range of impressive recipes that are both tasty and could easily be a staple product if you were to then run a bakery. It rounds of the degree well forcing you to use all the previous skills learnt and quickly mastering them. It was a highlight of the whole degree for me personally.

Course module review - Research Methods, 02/05/2016

Submitted by Anonymous on

This module is one of the most useful modules in the course as it describes the process of how experiments and studies are carried out and how the data is gathered which allows you to understand research in much more depth. The teaching on this module is very good as everything is explained to you very clearly and concise.

The module gave a good overview of the research process and it's significance in nursing and evidence based practice. The module was taught by experts in the field therefore were able to rely important information clearly and concisely. The assignment was relevant to practice and allowed us to utilise the knowledge gained during the module. Overall a very enjoyable and beneficial module.
