Course review , 31/05/2017

Enjoyed the mix of the two. Maths department very good as have the maths learning centre so always someone to help, also a very good computer room only maths students can access. However in second year I didn't like the fact you could only choose one out of the 6 maths modules therefore I was forced to do modules I really didn't want to do.
Sports side was very practical and a wide range of topics, also got to use equipment you ordinarily wouldn't have access to.

Many very useful modules that will help greatly throughout my career. Helpful feedback from assignments, approachable and engaging lecturers, flexibility around subject areas and the invaluable opportunity to get real-world experience on placement. The only downside is having to submit assignments as a paper copy as well as a soft copy (online).

A wide range of modules in the first year covering a number of topics in sport science such as physiology, psychology, sociology and biomechanics with a good mix of practical based practice in labs as well as useful lecture content.

Course module review - Developments in Microeconomics, 23/05/2016

Submitted by Anonymous on

This module, as I am sure many of my course mates will agree, is excellently run and many other modules could take note from it. The lecture is much more interactive than others giving oppotunites to do questions in the actual lectures and many examples. Often workshops as well as tutorials along the way help you understand where you are at. The lecturer you can tell really cares and you want to do well for him. In the latest coursework test he provided general and individual feedback, stressing if you did not perform well to see him and work out a plan of where to improve.

Course module review - International Marketing, 22/05/2016

Submitted by Anonymous on

Marketing is not an area that I would like to specialise in after graduating, however I thoroughly enjoyed this module because the lecturer was particularly entertaining, engaging all students irrelevant of interests and backgrounds. There were interactive lectures with the lecture content varying from videos, to presentations to guest speakers.
