Plenty of resources available online and in the library. Lots of study space for independent work, good support from tutors. The campus is usually clean and comfortable, the facilities around the campus are great - easy to acces by bus but could be better for driving!

The support i have received at uni has surpassed all expectations, not only from my lecturers, tutors etc, but the support from the students union has helped me with my studies. If there has ever been any confusion with a lecture, you are always welcomed to seek help. The same applies with being absent - they help to ensure you keep up to date with the work and complete it to your best ability.

Manchester Metopolitan is a nice university set in the heart of Manchester. It has different facilities to help students. The best thing about the university is the career support and jobs4students. The career support team have helped me a lot in getting my CV up to scratch and checking my cover letter which has landed me potential interviews. The university offer students jobs on campus which gives them the experience they need for the outside job market and gain some money at the same time. Its a win win!

I am an international student enrolled on a business management course with Man Met. Besides the course being arranged perfectly for me to have time to also get a job, the teachers are friendly, the building is amazing and the resources are fantastic. The library has everything one would need, the building is located close to the city centre. I like walking so I walk to Piccadilly every time I go to uni. I was unfortunate enough to be involved in a car accident that led to brain damage. The help I got from the disability hub was absolutely fabulous. I did not expect it to be so adapting to students with disability. It is all confidential so none of my colleagues knew what I went through and that I were eligible for extensions. Best choice I ever made, enrolling on this course at Man Met.

It’s a really good University. On my Event management course all the teachers are really lovely, helpful and knowledgeable and push you to get top marks. Everyone around is cool and laid back. The uni is a big advocate for sustainability so you learn a lot about it whilst being here. Also everyone has a met card with up to 1k a year on it so you get free stuff on campus and from any organisation associated with it.

The campus is accessible and resourceful. The course I am currently part taking is educational and supportive to all students. The union consists of many different services that are useful. My experience at this university is very positive and I enjoy it

I'm currently on my final year in MMU and I can't stress how thankful I am to all the University team, especially to my lecturers. As an EU student, when I first submitted my application I wasn't sure of what to expect and I was quite insecure about my English proficiency. During my first and second year I was only worried about passing the course, as I wasn't sure of what I wanted to do with my life. However, the more time I spent in university and the more lectures I attended I realised how supportive the staff are. Lecturers have been the ones who motivated me to reach my full potential and to become ambitious about my future. They are the ones who have impacted me both as a person and as a student. Looking back now, I wish I'd made more use of all the support that the university offers for students, such as writing consultations, IRP support, workshops of all types and jobs for students, among others. As a draw back, I'd say that the canteen food needs to go down on price! otherwise, the only ones who can afford to eat at university are the ones who get money on their met card; leaving EU and International students out. It's unfair.

Overall a good university but as I was based at the Cheshire campus in Crewe it was lacking in facilities / funding to say the least. It went down hill the longer I was there and therefore could see why people had left. Majority of the lecturers though were amazing and supportive and honestly made my last year a lot easier just by being understanding. The mental health facilities are rubbish and there’s a waiting list for a counsellor, which I think is absurd.

Great location for campus, only 5 minutes away from the train station and a 10/15 minute walk to the very centre of Manchester. I couldn’t have wished for a better course to have taken at university, from the organisation to the lecturers everything was great. The library is also huge with a number of floors and plenty of seating.

Facilities at Manchester met uni are exceptional with the new business school which loads of resources to help with studies. Only negative said is the way they work their accommodation service as it leaves people without accommodation (eg me) due to their poor service.

The teachers provide a lot of support to the students; universiry itself has a lot of facilities for the students to know that if they require any help, where such help would be found.

I have been at Manchester Met for the past year doing a PGCE. The course has been good in progressing me in my career to becoming a teacher

I study film and english and have done for over 5 years, studying film at mmu has been incredibly interesting and engaging. Getting to watch films and have lectures in old theatres is a great experience and something i’ll always remember. Most tutors are extremely helpful and seem genuinely interested in what they do, however not enough guidance is given, especially taking into consideration the amount of money put into the university by myself and other students. Overall, I wouldn’t choose to go to any other university, it’s been a great experience and i’ll be sad to leave.

Really good university offering a range of courses, the university staff are really helpful and are always willing to help you. Good range of societies and social things to do

The location is really great it's just outside of town so far enough from the hustle but close enough to be able to nip in. The campus has everything it could need within arms reach including a huge students union, supermarkets loads of different accommodations and a gym. The teaching is great and has fantastic student support. MMU has loads of sports societies and other societies so there's deffo something for everyone.

Small campus and small groups which is great for one on one tutoring with the lectures. Location is good, not far from Liverpool, Manchester. Close to train station which has easy access to all the big cities including direct link to London.

Great university and great memories i’ve had here! Wouldnt have changed it for the world! The university has supported me more than enough over the past for years, with grants, met card money, all the extra support! definitely don’t think i would have made it through without the help! They helped me find a placement in the US, a year i would have never experienced if it wasnt for MMU! best few years of my life!!
