A very modern university with the latest technology and re-invented work spaces. Not only is the building itself aesthetically pleasing to walk around and be in, but the support is phenomenal and the lecture styles are suited for everyone. I feel there are many benefits to use to an advantage throughout the course. All of which is also find is very well organised, structured and easy to follow.

Easy to get around as it is a very compact campus. Really nice library as well which is open 24/7 365 days a year. Also the union is good 2.50 for a fosters an on a Wednesday its a great start to the night before hot mess

The MMU campus is very easy to navigate around, the business building is a little bit of a maze but nothing I didn’t get used to after a few lectures and seminars. The business management course is always interesting my timetable is shorter than most courses which leaves me plently of extra time to work, study and socialise. The student union always puts on exciting events that attract everyone, my favourite events are the pretty little thing sample sales. The career services are extremely helpful in answering any career questions you have. I have made multiple appointments with them to edit my cv and help me find a job. My overall experience with uni has been great.

The campus and facilities are really good. Better than most places very modern up to date and full of resources that are easily accessible. Course has a lot of potential to be better however I’m only first year and understand we need to find our feet first. Expecting the course work to get better and more exciting as I progress.

The university overall is a great place to study; good facilities, very welcoming lecturers and a good variety of courses to study. However, the university does lack in spaces for students to study, the library is very small and has only a few floors limiting the amount of students to be able to use it as well as the limited amount of computers and technology available the library does not help when it comes to studying. There is no study rooms available on each of the campuses as there are only lecture and seminar rooms. The lack of food places on campus also is a concern for aspiring students as there is only one tiny canteen per campus and takes an hour or more of waiting in queues to get lunch meaning that you will be waiting an awful long time or you will need to go out of campus to get food. The WiFi and internet connection on campus is terrible, as a student you will encounter many many trips to IT services for the campus WiFi acting up, unfortunately nothing has been done to improve it although they have numerous complaints hourly. The university although does claim to promote diversity and equality, it really doesn’t. I mean that in the sense that people who have specific diets i.e vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, kosher, halal, etc. There is very little variety for you, on most days you will need to go off campus to find food as they do not cater on campus. Additionally, ethnic religious dates are not counted as Holidays, i.e, hannukah, holi, eid, Ramadan, etc. Students must be marked absent for participating and therefore have their attendance punished. In addition to this, the university union shop is very misleading and disappointing as items are priced two to three times more than the amount compared to shops off campus, for the exact same item. This is truly exploitative of the university. Furthermore, the university fails to recognise that having a large ampunt of students attending does require having an adequate amount of water closet facilities. Students can be seen queuing outside of both males and females toilets at all times of day as there is a lack of enough toilets to cater for them. Being an student at this university I have seen a few of the lackings, some of which I have stated briefly above. However, the university does have it’s perks too; studying here I have had ample opportunity to try different cultures foods as it so close to the chains of ethnic food restaurants. The university being so close to the heart of city centre is another great perk. Also, the university has a great variety of societies to join and be apart of, each teaching you different things and allowing you to get involved with activities you enjoy. Thank you for reading my review.

The main campus is great and seems to accommodate everyone’s needs. There is a new building being built which is a good sign and the arts are pretty much covered. Unfortunately some of my tutors are not being brought back next year due to government cuts therefore I probably won’t get the quality of education I am paying so much for which is a shame.

My university looks great, has amazing facilities such as library access and student union. My tutors are also amazing and so is the organisation of the course.

Pretty good so far, the campus is nice and I love my course! The lectures are helpful and kind. The campus is pretty spread out however, meaning it’s hard to navigate at first but you soon get used to it.

Students Union is pretty good. lots of events, cheap drinks. campus easy to navigate. needing a computer sucked, there was never enough. got to do a placement year which was awesome.

The course is average at best. All my seminars were the same; we were given a worksheet, and then had to discuss the questions in group. That was not worth the high fee rates.

Great university in a great location. No one is left to feel like they don't belong there and helping others aswell as joining in is promoted. I've recieved lots of support from my personal tutor aswell as support from the study abroad team in my second year who happily skyped me to check how I was doing abroad and fit around the time difference. They provide this support pre departure (1st yr), whilst abroad (2nd yr) and on return (3rd year) so have become a big part of my uni experience. Great lecture theatres and classrooms, cafes, library and sports opportunities. Always kept immaculately clean and recycling is promoted with recycle point scattered along each floor of each building.

I have been studying at Manchester Metropolitan for the past 4 years now and have enjoyed it very much. Although my course is literally nothing how I expected it I have still enjoyed it and made friends for life. I didn’t like how closed off all the halls were I stayed in, it made it very hard to socialise because the security was so high between flats.

Manchester Metropolitan University has different campuses dedicated to specific courses. They are all great value for money and the buildings are full with resources available for the pupils.

The campus is relatively straight forward to get around as is the student union. My course was Forensic Psychology although the forensic module is engaging unfortunately the other modules on the course aren't as engaging

A fantastic uni with some really great courses to chose from. The business school is in a really modern building, and the lecturers offer a lot of support. The library is also amazing with all the resources you need for the course you chose. There is a grass area that can be used over summer to do work outside and there is internet access is all of the buildings. The union offers some great social and sports groups for a range of interests, and has a student bar and shop which does great food and stationary. There are other cafes around the uni with a variety of options at great prices for lunch time.

The course I’m overall happy with it, but one problem is that the course didn’t other much choice when it cames to modules and one module in particular was taken away from us and I found out the current second years are able to take the module we weren’t able to choose. That has annoyed me as it didn’t allow me to undertake a specialism from my course. The Student Union is amazing value for money and a great place to chill. The facilities such as the library just needs more current books but apart from that it’s good.

I have a love/hate with MMU. Some of the teachers are fantastic and so help then there are others just just don't care. The University itself is very beautiful but could do with a lot more planning.

The facilities are all update and my course is amazing full of people from different backgrounds and the student Union is full of new stuff to buy.
