Amazing staff, both teaching and all other areas who are willing to help you in anyway they can. A wonderful university full of wonderful people, with a plethora of societies and extra curricular activities

Excellent facilities and course, only improvement I’d say is timetabling. Lectures late at night are very difficult for travelling students and difficult to pay attention in. Days with one lecture are difficult as well as it would be more beneficial to have lectures on the same day.

I am a first year student, and so far i am fully enjoying my course. The course itself is spread evenly throughout the week. It includes service learning to give us a taste of helping the community before we go out into placement. The lectures are enthusiastic of their course and provide varied teaching to make the content more interesting.

The course so far has been a really exciting experience including the lab practical's which are run very efficiently and effectively with very helpful staff on hand to answer questions when necessary. All the lecturers respond very quickly to emails and are friendly and easy to approach if you need to talk about anything. The course content is relatively easy to understand and structured in a way that helps it easy to revise the material. There is a lot of information but the explanation given makes it easier to retain the information.

It's quite an intense course that offers you experience while you study. One thing I like about it is that unlinke other course at the end of my degree I already know what I what to become and they are some good paying jobs that are available in the government and private sectors. Our lecturers are very helpful supportive and understanding.

Course module review - Work Based Learning, 10/05/2016

This is one of the most boring modules I have but it is also the best and most useful lesson (if I may call it that) that I have ever received! The basics of it is really that you learn to reflect on your learning, which seems kinda weird but it's done through working for uni credits in an actual job. You get guidance on writing cv, personal letter, cover letter and everything you need to know once you get out of uni! We always complain that we aren't taught how to get a job... Now you don't have a reason anymore!

This has been my favourite module of my four years at university. I was lucky enough to have Rebecca Finkle lead my last year at qmu. As well as challenging our academic capabilities Rebecca allowed us to be creative in this module. She expanded my writing skills by this dramatically. She always kept the class interesting and I looked forward to attending classes. With regard to contact Rebecca was always keen to reply to any questions I had on the assignment and her feedback was quick and thorough.

As radiographers, there is a very short amount of Interprofessional working. In this module, for radiography students the module was worth 10 credits and for OTs, Nurses, Speech and language therapists, podiatrists, physios etc it was worth 20. I felt the module coordinators were unsure of how much to involve us in this module and it was slightly disorganised. THe other students were assessed in an essay and a presentation and we were assessed on the essay only although we were involved in the presentation.
