Good uni, lots of space for students and the atmosphere is good and calm. Limited food choices, should’ve swapped papa johns for something better than Jamie Oliver’s restaurant.

I had a good experience at RGU for 4 years studying business. They had good connections for getting students placements and employment

Buildings are pretty close to each other for travelling between class. Many different food facilities across the whole campus that offer a range of different foods. Classes are easy to find and student union and help points are useful.

Campus is great and modern with an amazing location. 20 minute bus from city centre and is right next to the river-beautiful views. Hospitality and tourism management team are great!

The overall environment of the uni is very welcoming and friendly. They are extremely helpful at attaining relevant placements and bringing in external speakers who can share their experiences of jobs they have gone on to do from their degree at RGU.

I'm a first year at RGU and in super happy with the choice I have made to go there! The teacher are very helpful and available for a nothing you may need. The lectures are very interesting. The facilities are amazing. In general the building is new and modern. The library is the best with it's amazing view and the huge variety of books and articles available for any student and staff member. The student union is great the only this is that I don't really see what they do to improve things.

SIWB and Health Sciences building are the best ones in my opinion. The library is perhaps too small, not many seats and older than the one at Aberdeen Uni.

This university is focused on teaching the student how to think critically. There is very modern study base and also a well equipped gym.

Very nice campus, good environment for studying. Great graduate prospectus for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. However, meals at uni can be quite expensive and on the pricey side and worst of all it's still on the rise. Nonetheless, I study pharmacy and in terms of academics the teaching material is top notch. I can say that they overprepare you for the outside world if there's such a thing. There's a great transportation link between the university and the city centre. However, transport tends to be expensive. In general, I can definitely say that it is a nice environment for learning. We also have the student union and RES life who try to make uni a little but more fun and memorable

Large campus, modern set up with easy accessible entrances and exits. Help desks in each buildings to help if can't find the room number or need to find a certain member of staff. Each building has a dining hall with a range of options fo cater for everyone. Great placement opportunities aiding the transition to the world of work after study along with chance to do study abroad depending on the course.

I find myself fortunate to be able to study at Robert Gordon University. I feel there is unconditional support from all the staff members and they always encourage you to do better and what you think you can.

As a university, it is presented a fantastic facility that provides themselves on their employability percentages after course completion. The courses are pretty awfully ran, and the staff are constantly changing on a yearly basis. This makes the progression of the course stagnant, and you often find course content repeated in different modules. The recent changes to examination periods in winter to be earlier have students very stressed and the course content has not been cut back to Accommodate for this. It's examinations feel more like a challenge of rushing work through rather than allowing students the opportunity to have pride in their work.

Campus - very modern and a great facility to study at location wise! Course - too broad in subjects, I wish it offered fewer modules but went into each in more detail. As a 2+2 student I don’t particularly feel welcomed at RGU

The facilities are great, especially for those studying computing. Modern building with great computer labs.

The Univeristy is very modern with a lot of lab equipment, students are not usually able to get a hold of in other universities. The University is very progressive when it comes to equality across all students.

The Robert gordon university is an amazing university to go to. All the facilities on campus are basically brand new and all the staff and lecturers are so friendly and willing to help students. I do Management with Marketing BA (Hons) at the business school there and so far the lecturers and tutorials have been brilliant and I’m absolutely loving it! The student union is always active and looking to include any student of any age and nationality in a range of on and off campus activities which is lovely and helps new people settle in. I would 100% recommend any student considering different universities to consider RGU as my experience there has been amazing!

Gorgeous setting not too far from the city centre. The new library is ace and has so many useful sources! Really enjoy using the gym and swimming pool as well!

The facilities are all nearly brand new but the teaching quality can vary greatly. Some lecturers are brilliant, others are not good enough. The student union do a lot for the students, they have increased transport, moved the academic calendar, and more. The course on the whole is great but I feel there are room for improvements

A great university with a wide range of clubs and societies to join. The campus isn't beautiful anymore due to development and cramming it all into one building but the community is a good one. Careers service is decent. Student union is non existent. Plenty of places to eat too!

The worst experience of my life. No focus on student wellbeing, tutors able to get away with NO organisation and NO classes. My dissertation tutor decided she didn’t want us anymore. So I had NO dissertation tutor for months and had to restart my new dissertation a month before hand in! We ended up with a tutors mate, not even a teacher! She didn’t even work there or have any teaching qualifications or experience! Tutors were able to do no classes, no prep and just left us alone. Run down campus, tutors who do not care about the subject or their students.
