The university really listens to students.Im doing undergrad engineering and even in my first year , when students spoke to student reps the change would hit the same semester even. And lecturers take into account the feedback given during the term , its great. There are tons of networking opportunities, societies and help for anything and everything. Its a windy place but i can tell when its over ill be fond of the memories made here.

Swansea University is a brilliant university whose facilities are neutered towards all individuals. I would highly recommend this university as the lecturers and personal tutors are extremely helpful

Amazing lecturers for my course (Zoology) all very enthusiastic and always happy to help. Both campuses right by the beach, although Bay campus is a little far from everything. Some lecture theatres are not the greatest but all buildings on campus are close to eachother which is good ! Food options on campus good. Vegan and gluten free options (although there could be more gluten free on the go options). Great nightlife ! Overall really good uni, couldn't imagine being at any other.

Really enjoyed the university, the facilities for engineering are amazing and all the buildings are brand new. Treated really well by lecturers who clearly want you to succeed.

Swansea is great, not for your usual outgoing drink till you die kind of student, no. Swansea is quiet but not too quiet, small and everything is relatively close, full of old people and not a lot of crime. The science department is fantastic, good lecturers and a variety of modules to pick from. The campus is not the greatest but we are students so we cant compain.

The University is seperated into two campuses, Bay Campus and Singleton Campus. Both offer great facilities for students with on site libraries on both campuses which both offer a vast wealth of literature and studying facilities for students. I study history and the course is fantastic, the help offered by the course lecturers is outstanding and whilst the course is challenging, it is deeply rewarding and intellectually stimulating. The students union offers a great selection of societies. Societies range from specific course societies such as history through to sports such as Archery, Rugby, NFL and Motorsport. To say there is something for all is an understatement.

Swansea university is great. Amazing lecturers, interesting modules, astonished student life, beautiful campus

It's awful, two campus's spilt over 8miles. Location is poor. The town is awful and not much on offer. No support for students. Courses don't get value for money.

Great university, with two campuses with great vibes and resources. Amazing lecturers especially in history. Lots of choice in terms of modules, ranging from ancient and medieval to the modern era. Good resources in terms of computer programmes and great resources at the bay campus for engineering. Lots of acces to aid for mental health as well.

I am studying Master's of science in Computational Mechanics. It a innovative course with the mixture of computer, coding and real life engineering problems to solve using computer programs for the analysis of the structures. The Swansea Bay campus is an ideal place to study, with peace and calm environment. The Campus is just in front of the beach which makes it really beautiful and great place to chill out after heavy classes hours. The student support are absolutely supporting and friendly. The Teachers are highly qualified as will as highly skilled for teaching. I am an Erasmus Mundus student, and i feel the education quality of Swansea University is Much more higher than that in Barcelona, Spain. The careers service in Swansea university are friendly, providing with ideas and suggestions on how to apply for the possible future jobs and even help to fix our CV's allow us for the mock test of the interview which will really boots our confidence level in real life job applications. The only drawback of this university is its geographical location. Swansea is really windy and cold during winter. I haven't experienced the summer but people say its not quite long. Also the Day light in winter is very less. It becomes dark after 3 or 4 , Which is quite unusual then the place that i come from. But the people of Swansea are extremely friendly and helpful. This is my first stay in English speaking country, It will surely help to sharpen my English Skills.

The campus is brand new and still more to come with new computer science rooms and state of the art engineering facilities and labs, with 20 million being spent just on the new computer science building. My course (sport science) is very popular and 6th highest in the university rankings, with the newest physiology and biomechanics labs allowing us to get experience on the newest technology. The student union is very diverse in the sports and activities to do which provides alot of opportunity for social life and to get involved. There are frequent careers days with the highest or buissnesses and organisations such as GE and DHL to offer advice and career opportunities. With many lectures and talks with poeple offering advice and employment education to know how to cope with getting into a new career. The experience of Swansea is always a popular answer when asked, it being amazing with many areas in town for shopping, nights out and places to eat, with many educational and social opportunities which should always be utalised.

(I study on Bay campus only) Swansea Bay Campus is slightly out of town and thus is fairly difficult to get to/stay on at a low cost. Having said this, the campus itself is incredible and the facilities are truly second to none. I study chemical engineering and the lecturers are extremely helpful, genuinely kind and very supportive, I have never had a problem getting advice from a lecturer in the past. The personal facilities (Gym/cafeteria/shop/restaurant) on campus are fairly expensive and there isn't a huge amount of choice, however every student is currently being made well aware that change is on its way and feedback is both important and hugely sought after. To conclude, although there are a few small snags with the brand new campus itself, this can be expected on an ongoing project and everyone is frequently prompted to give feedback and various aspects in order for these experiences to be improved for students.

Swansea University has best location in the world, students get opportunity to do loads of field and practical training work with eco-friendly atmosphere. In it you can engage with whole world under one shelter. It has an international leading centre for Computational engineering research. Facilities and services offered by university are mind blowing, I didn't received such facilities anywhere. Student union very friendly and cooperative. It has renowned faculties with interdisciplinary research enthusiast. Societies and clubs of different domains, language, sports are more fascinating as every week they are arranging events, guest lectures and many more.

I have had the best time of my life at Swansea University. The atmosphere is very good and enjoyable. Living in halls was a lot of fun and now living in student area Uplands is also great fun. The only criticism I have is of the new Bay Campus, which is a beautiful campus yet the travel to the campus is long.

I'm in my second year in the uni now and overall I have had a good experience. Last year I had issues with my accomodation but they were all solved by the uni in a decent enough amount of time. The teaching standard on my course (Welsh) is great and all of the lecturers are willing to help in any situation. The university is very organised with things such as blackboard and timetable and I get regular emails from them about anything important that's happening.

The university has loads to offer with placements, studies abroad and career options. Lecturers are always on hand to help and teach a wide variety of interesting topics

Thoroughly enjoyable experience in a university that feels like it's moving upwards. Enjoyable lectures (marine biology), well organised modules (minus a few ironed out issues), a bustling atmosphere, countless societies with appropriate funding and a great location near wildlife and cities. The best of both worlds for a student!

Facilities are good over both campuses, staff are usually friendly and are able to help you with what you need

Great Uni, with beautiful surroundings, fun nightlife and supportive lectures. I wish I could have studied there for longer. So I could enjoy the mumbles for longer. It has grown in reputation on an upward trajectory when its neighbour is on a downward one.

I love living/studying at Swansea university! It's in a great location right by the sea and I love the new buildings on bay However I do normally struggle to find a space when I go into bay librsry, so I think bay librsry needs to be expanded. The buses are very good and frequent and the mobile app with the bus passes on works very well.
