The University of Bath

The facilities are great, especially the university gym. The library is very accessible and communal and there is also a second library in town for second and third years off campus. Lectures are well organised and many lectures are available online which helps students keep up during busier periods. My course would have been better if there were more modules updated to relate more to the real world.

I’ve absolutely loved my course here so far, it’s very flexible and therefore I’ve been able to do modules from politics as well as the offered modules for my course. It’s well structured and the faculty are incredibly supportive!

The psychology course is amazing. Great exposure to the top researchers in the country, opportunities to be involved with research and great support for jobs after University. Very interesting and wide range of content.

Corrupt university board, but SU works hard to keep the university great and the lecturers are (on average) amazing!

While it's not the most happening city, I love how chill it is. Sports facilities are pretty good and complete, there is also a huge range of societies to choose from. Campus is very clean, with easy access to groceries.

Bath is a great uni. The lecturers are engaging and interesting. The placement scheme is brilliant when applying for jobs after graduating. The town is beautiful and has a friendly vibe.

Bath is a small uni so it's relatively easy to get to know most people in your course. Some of my optional modules have been lacking in content and teaching quality. Library seems to always be crowded most definitely during exams and although there are other study spaces available they're usually busy too.

Great city and univeristy. Anything you need you will find it in uni. Organisation is reality good and staff is always helpful

Careers and placements service sets Bath ahead of plenty of other universities - so much support is given from CV writing to helping contact potential employers.

The campus is great. Most things are on site and easily accessible, including two banks and good study rooms. There are a lot of places to get food as well!

Campus and facilities are great although accommodation prices in halls and in the city are very expensive. Governance of the university is awful as there is a massive inequalities between pay and lack of accountability to students.

Generally speaking and excellent university - nice feel to campus, great facilities and high-quality lecturers. Library excessively busy at times and some areas of campus a little dated. If you're keen on your sports Bath is great on a casual or competitive basis.

Great lecturers who care about their students and what they teach, and a great city to live in. The course content is carefully curated and there's a good balance of theory and hands on (for context, I do MechEng). The university also has a lot of links with industry which helps when looking for jobs and placements. There are many student run societies such as women in engineering, LGBT+, various international societies and religious unions, as well as pretty much any sport you can think of - mountaineering, salsa dance, kick boxing, etc. The campus is not exactly the most beautiful part of the city, but the library is open 24/7 and there are plenty of places to work, eat, and chill.

The university of Bath is fantastic. The city is amazing for everything you could need; restaurants, culture, shopping, nightlife etc. and having Bristol so close by really makes a big difference for those used to bigger cities. The campus itself is very insular but a bit secluded being a 20 minute bus from the city and other living locations. My course (Economics) is interesting but could do with more support from staff and the rest of department and feedback is slow. Overall I highly recommend both the course and University of Bath

The sport facilities at my uni were amazing. Such a great opportunity for every student to progress as an athlete. The halls and the student union were very friendly and had great space to chill and make new friends . On a whole I had a great experience and made some friends for life

the courses are intriguing with great professors and easily approachable student assistance programs. the university is quite small but accommodated everything it needs.

The university has really good facilities - 24 hour library and good gym and sports pitches. The business course is good and you can tailor it towards our interests - in first year you complete compulsory modules but 2nd-4th year you can choose your own so you can make the course more finance orientated or choose more marketing modules etc. The only thing that was bad is the feedback on exams and coursework - you only get a mark and generic comments and this does not help you improve. Some lecturers are more engaging than always.

The campus is not so big and you have everything you usually look for. It has green areas with a nice lake and various buildings separated by departments. The library is modern and it has different levels (according, for example, to the level of concentration you need -level 5 quiet area-. Tutors are really competent and they usually help you with everything you need. There is also a big offer of societities and ways of spending your spare time. There are varied cafes and canteens. The SU sometimes organises great trips and activities. I really recommend it!

I have been attending this university for 8 months now and it's fully living up to my expectations. The campus is very functional yet also very pretty. There is a central lake with lots of wildlife that is perfect for retreating to when I feel like escaping my work. I study chemistry and have really enjoyed the big focus on labs. In first year I am having 12 hours of labs per week and during this time we get to use a good range of instruments. The timetabling is well done and one party of my course I really like is tutorial where a professor teaches us in groups of 5.

The campus is small and honestly the management are keen on filling it way beyond capacity. While the facilities are good they are small and there is not enough. Nonetheless it is a good institution for the most part with experts on the subject who are engaged, but some of them are quite clearly only there to dl research and do not show enough interest with the students which is saddening. The Su however is excellent, despite being small it is a great community with lots to offer. There id a lot available in terms of sports and societies but there should be more available which can be done on trial sessions. I am glad I came because I met lots of great people and so on but I possibly would say if I were asked again I might choose instead somewhere else.
