University of birmingham is a great university with a wide range of students attending and they manage to cater for all. Facilities on campus are great so many areas you can go for several different things like study or food.

Amazing environment in the campus with farmers market everyday serving delicious fruits and waffle truck. It has all the facilities required for students and goes beyond to offer £20 free printing for students of the medical school. I am a Med student and can say that most of the course is well structured however some teachings can be improved. We go to go every fortnight from the first year which has helped established my ability to speak to patients and take a decent history . Difficult to talk about careers as that would be down to nhs policy .

Perfect combination of beautiful campus uni but also very close to the city centre. Birmingham offers good student accommodation in an area where there's always something to do. Studying chemical engineering at Birmingham has allowed me to find a great internship working with Unilever and has prepared me well for life in industry. And of course, nights in fab overlooked by the majestic old joe have set me up with friends and memories I will keep forever. I would recommend Birmingham to anyone as it has something for everyone. I have enjoyed all the new sports facilities and the quality and quantity of study areas is increasing year on year making it almost bearable to sit up long nights finishing off group projects.

Couldn't find a better university if I tried. The whole campus is beautiful and everything is so close by. University has its own train station making all areas of the West Midlands easily accessible. Brilliant student union nights out such as sports night. Could do more for safety and mental health.

I think the uni has a good student union, there are 2 floors with different types of music and multiple bars. And it's only a 10-15 minute walk from the student area so it's a cheap and convenient night out. The library is modern, however, it's simply not big enough and I don't think they gave student's needs enough consideration in their planning. There should be more desks rather than couches. If you want to work on a couch you can do it at home

The building is really big and there is alot of space to discover and explore. But getting from one place to another can become a bit of a challenge especially between lectures and finding seats for a group of friends to revise at is sometimes difficult. However I do enjoy the open grass space and the trees on campus, I does add a nice touch to the space.

Beautiful campus with lots of nice study saves including the recently renovated Harding library which is fantastic for law students Whilst contact hours may be limited there is enough optional staff supporter available for students at any time they wish and the majority of academics are open to office hours. I have had a great experience there and would strongly recommended this university to anyone

Attending the university of birmingham allows for a balanced lifestyle between high end education that allows you to work to a high standard and also enjoy yourself and let your hair down a bit. The facilities arent limiting and there is most likely always something to cater to your educational needs.Career services are very helpful as long as you put yourself out there and actively use them.

Great university with great people, lecturers and staff and the student hub is extremely helpful. Facilities are new and clean and resourceful for students. As an international student doing law, i highly recommend birmingham university to other students who seek to pursue their studies in the UK

Everything you needed was on campus, the city is 10mins away on the train. Nights out are so close and cheap to get to. Student nights on campus (fab) are the best. Learning facilities are good. The new sports centre has everything you would want,

Can't fault the university at all. The campus is so beautiful, especially during the autumn. All the staff are so helpful too.

The University of Birmingham has a beautiful campus due to the huge amount of green space and amazing red brick buildings. The student union is great and has so much on offer including a weekly club night, careers service, restaurants, shops and offers around 300 societies so everyone will be able to find something to take part in. The new sport and fitness centre is huge and very well equipped.

The University of Birmingham has one of the most beautiful campus's I know. The red brick buildings and clock tower (old joe) and green campus are what sets this University apart from many others. The student union has so much to offer and is actually voted one of the best in the country. There are a huge range of societies (300) so everyone can find an extracurricular activity to do.

The campus itself is both very pretty and functional. There are so many buildings that there's more than enough room for all students and there are shops, banks and food outlets all on campus meaning students barely even have to leave to get what they need! The student accommodation on The Vale is in a quiet area of Birmingham and is surrounded by nature which is lovely for walking and making you feel calm. My course, social work is very interesting and well structured. The use of the student portal Canvas is fantastic as it means I can find all the resources I need online. Birmingham made me feel very welcome due to all the events they put on for freshers week and those organised by hall reps, as well as giving me the opportunity to meet my flatmates online before moving in.

Campus is excellent but not all the student accommodations are as nice. Really good staff though and very supportive of whatever you want to do .

The campus is beautiful and it is a lovely university. However there are also limited spaces in the main library and it is hard to find a space for study

The uni of Birmingham is huge and for the most part, beautiful to look at! Facilities are generally good. There are lots of handy shops, cafes, study spaces etc. The library, however, is often full to its maximum capacity and hence finding a seat in the main library can prove impossible. Staff are also generally good, but take a hands off approach. This is standard for all universities (generally) as lecturers aim to inspire your learning rather than just to teach you a set curriculum. I find this approach suits me and allows me to be independent/provides more freedom. I like living in Birmingham and the university makes the huge city feel smaller and more like home.

Uni is great, made loads of good friends here and enjoyed so much I decided to stay for an extra year for a Masters course! Uni of Bham campus is lovely, mixture of old and new architecture and always a buzz of activity and lots of things going on. My course - History of Art - is really fun - the highlight was going on a trip to Prague in second year.

The campus is currently undergoing refurbishment due to end in 2021 and acts as a way of reinvesting our student loan in order to improve the experience that we receive which I am excited about. The careers service is exceptional and put on a range of events and workshops to ensure that employability skills are good.

I study English and Classics and I am in my third year of study. The facilities on the campus are great ranging from a new library and several study spaces in each college. The course has approachable lecturers and they are always keen to help in their office hours. The experience is amazing due to the breadth of people you meet both nationally and internationally and the ability to join many student societies that tick all interests. Lectures are also recorded so if you miss one you are covered

The University of Birmingham is a brilliant place to study with a beautiful campus. The facilities are state of the art and are always being improved and redeveloped. Being such a large University, there are endless opportunities to get involved with outside of academic study. I couldn't have asked for a better place to go to University.
