Brighton offers a lot for everyone, always something new going on. A free bus service runs between halls and uni which makes life a lot easier in first year. Staff are helpful and easy to talk to, theres always something going on.

The university is very relaxed and a nice atmosphere. People are friendly and the arts campus has a great art culture and community. The course is marked fairly and they offer support to all students. There are a lot of great lectures. But there could be more opportunities to collaborate with different students from other courses. They could offer more financial support, you have to buy many art resources and pay for printing which can get very expensive. I haven’t heard much about career services being in first year but I’m sure they can accommodate you properly. There is good course organisation and the course is very flexible. I wish there were more workshops and learning opportunities but also enjoy being independent. I enjoyed my first year overall and the city of Brighton is not to be missed!
