Great atmosphere, lovely staff and students, made me feel very welcome in Brighton. Gym membership is good priced, all campuses are surrounded by loads of public transport so it's easy to get around both Brighton and Eastbourne

The campus is a bubbly environment filled with different societies to join and lecturers who are always there to support your when you need help

The student health services are a joke, there is no one to talk to in an emergency or online, only links to other services or help with residences of subjects. Teachers pile work on and maximise stress

BSMS Learning facilities - more lecture theatre could be added to facilitate and space out lectures in the timetable across year 1 and 2 more effectively Sports facility - No swimming pool on-site SU shop - very small selection of items

I've had the absolute time of my life so far, the year has gone so quickly and I've met so many like-minded and amazing people here. I can't wait to come back for one more year and I never want the experience to end!

Overall my experience at Brighton has been very positive. I really like the area. The campuses are located in perfect positions so there only one bus journey away from the main centre if your placed in Moulsecoomb or Falmer and only a short walking distance from Grand parade. However, if your located at Eastbourne or Hastings they are so far from everything else, The facilities are ok, I really like how the library's have different sections on each floor e.g quiet zone and silent zone. They also have bootable study rooms which makes it so much easier when doing group work. I would say this about most of the courses that the staff are very laid back and you have to chase them us about most things. I say this as I live with 5 other people who all do different courses. Overall, I do think Brighton as a whole is a really great place where you can have an amazing student experience.

Really friendly and approachable lecturers with a passion for what they teach. Lots of hands on experience with lab work and field work in every year. Support from lecturers is easy and quick to obtain.

Very easy to get to, especially the Moulscoomb and Falmer campuses. The train stopped right outside and was very close to the buildings. The labs very really good, updated and very spacious . They also had advanced equipment that can be used for further study like postgraduate and PhD study.

Campuses are well facilitated, all bearing excellent sport facilities. Good atmosphere around as well with lots of friendly people. All my lecturers are very well organised and have great depth of knowledge of what they are teaching. They also try to facilitate different learning types through consolidating students and incorporating different activities and exercises during lectures rather than just sat listening to a powerpoint.

Brighton is a small spread out uni with good student union facilities, cute on campus cafes and a large library

Since going into my third year of university I have truly enjoyed studying and being a part of it. The lecturers who I have had are always supportive and put 100% effort into the modules and overall course. The union has been extremely helpful in helping my friends and I to start up a society which we now currently run and him events every month.

The uni facilities are not the best. Sometimes the lecturers do not turn up and do not tell us, when they do they teach us well though.

Amazing university learnt so much the staff are very helpful and I am on course to reaching my goals. Would recommend anyone to join Brighton as it's brilliant and enhances ones knowledge

Lectures consisted of people reading off of a PowerPoint which hasn’t been updated since the year before and would then be put online anyway.

The university of brighton has really changed my perspective of further education. It is an incredible location and the knowledge being taught is such a resource and asset to the future skill set. The campuses are always clean and welcoming and it is a place I am proud to say I am a part of.

My course is brilliant, you cannot study it anywhere else in the country and I’m so happy that I found a degree that suits me. The lecturers are brilliant and inspiring people. The campus is great, they are spread out throughout Brighton which I was worried about at first but being in the city for me is perfect and only adds to my Brighton university experience.

Some of the campuses aren't very attractive such as moulscoomb where I study business but other areas are modern and nice. The library is great and has alot of useful resources and the Uni has some pretty nice staff.

Very decent university. Can’t complain on the teachers there, nightlife is acceptable and overall generally just a good university.

Campus is very spread out across different buildings in different locations. Facilities are good however the library is not big enough to support all students studying during peak exam periods. Good careers service although I have not personally used it, they post jobs online that students can apply to and send out emails if an opportunity arises that relates to your subject.
