My university measures up to what life in Brighton is like as a resident. Everyone is friendly and it’s peaceful the perfect place to study. More so being by the beach makes it even more worth it

Great location and a good teaching department. Slightly underfunded and undervalued department, but overall a good university.

It is a nice university and very friendly. Both canteens are easy to access and do some nice food. Lecturers are very kind and easy to talk to.

Nice campus, could do with more sports facilities. Pharmacy course is excellent. Student union very small, could be expanded. Overall good university experience.

- module choices aren’t great - marking is not consistent - tutors are helpful - seminars are structured well - lectures can be a bit boring

The uni is a very welcoming and inviting uni. The course I take is sport and exercise science and the wide variety and range of equipment is really what stands out to me. They allow you to have the freedom to be your own whilst giving you so much feedback and reviews of your work meaning you are always heading on the right track.

My campus univetsity does not have enough student spaces where we can chill around. The gym is also very small. The student support services are helpful.

It’s a brilliant campus when it comes to the opportunities you get when looking for a job. The staff are well trained and problems that students have are likely solvable. I’m addition the union and orngansisations run and very good, all types together to help charities and the UoB itself. The only thing I’d change is the fact they don’t have a lot of Macs available.

The campus as a whole is pretty good. My course wasn't organised very well, especially during the exam period, which made resources more difficult to gain acess to. Many lectures were also not very useful. The careers service at this university was useful whenever I needed them.

Cool campus. Lots of equipment and loads of help from tutors. The course is heavy and requires that you are in the ubiversity workshops every day. We have to look at the real life market and we get freedom for our own ideas

The course has really helped me prepare for my future career. The course team are supportive and knowledgeable. University accommodation was expensive so opted for privately rented accommodation.

Great uni and great people. I only wish they provided some support to us students who travel in from London as it can be very expensive and sometimes impractical when 9am exams are involved.

Brighton uni has been an amazing experience. The lecturers have been amazing and so supportive and they have really helped me to achieve amazing grades during my studies. The atmosphere is amazing and I would highly reccomend this university to everyone.

Campus is great, great people and great tutors. Facilities aren't the best but they are functional. Student union is also great, organising great events

My course - Environmental Science appears broad, and it is, it covers many aspects of life, but even though it seems almost identical to the geography degree, it focuses more on the scientific factors. First year covers most things, physical geography - coastal, fluvial, weathering and more; field work skills (Greece trip!) and many more. Second year is where you can begin to focus towards a particular path, or you can remain broad! It’s all optional to your own preference, which is amazing. The lecturers here are very encouraging, and give a lot of time to help you, even with a so-called “silly question”. Many lecturers appear very passionate about their topics, which inspires me to look into the topics further in my own time, that really is rare. Careers services in general is average. I have heard of some not so good experiences from other students, but personally I have not got in touch with that aspect of the university yet. Although there is one thing I do know, jobs within the university are incredibly difficult to get, so it’s best to be prepared for a lot of competition. I have also heard that the university does not have that much experience towards dealing with bullying, hopefully that can be improved.

The university is absolutely amazing - modern look and perfect location. just 15-20 minutes from the city centre with all the nightlife!

Hastings campus was sick. Was like a really nice community and it was absolutely excellent because I got so drunk all the time. Actual uni was wank and I learnt nothing. I made some mates for life though. She they are closing that campus down. A survey said that students at that campus were the happiest. At other campuses there was a load of homeless students... mad!

Campus is all close together, easy to access everything Lecturers & tutors get in touch very quickly and help a lot Facilities are great for my course

The campus facilities are good overall, but the student union is definitely lacking in things to do. Course is fine and generally well-structured.

Are pointless lectures that have no relation to the course and teachers who don’t know what there doing, then Brighton humanities course is for you. I’m still in my first year but I’ve had enough time to understand that the staff don’t know what they’re talking about. The the money we spend isn’t going on our education either it’s just going into building a student city campus at the opposite campus to mine so great work Brighton. It’s absymal efforts from the uni to improve your chances of being employed in the future.

Engaging studies however staff aren't Stellar. Great career support and vocational opportunities. Brighton is a heavily student oriented city with lots of transportation options and a excellent nightlife however the city is incredibly expensive and therfore student budgets may are very restricting.

I love my course at University of Brighton, however I could not say the same about people on my course or at the university itself. My university experience was different to what everyone told university was going to be like.

Brighton university is a very diverse place full of many different people and personalities, and is a great place to be as everyone is very accepting of everyone's uniqueness.

All round good university, on a new course which is still slightly hit or miss in terms of lectures and organisation. Great to be part of a new innovative way of thinking - & Of course Brighton is fab especially in the summer!! Although it’s more expensive than London
