The university is lacking in almost every aspect. The halls of residence are overpriced and very basic and the help offered to students who are struggling is non existent. Any difficult situations are dealt with appallingly.

The halls of residences are all very overpriced and basic, the level of help given to students outside of lectures is appalling and the way they deal with difficult situations makes many students regret choosing the university. Although the city itself is almost perfect, the university is lacking in pretty much everything.

The course itself was great for the first year. Lecturers were in the whole friendly and helpful. However, the second year was repetitive and no one on the course told us that in order to register in our profession after we'd finished we'd have to pay over £100. This left many of us, who being students with little money, unable to register straight away and resulted in us working a job and not being paid at the right level for it. I think this reflects the universities wealth and non concern for what they see as small amounts of money, and in fact I received an email from the course leader saying that the marking of our dissertations was less pressing because "graduate employment is perhaps less pressing". A massive disrespect I feel when a majority of the course were working full time far before the course ended to fund ourselves and being paid far less than we should of done, but the university did not see that as a "pressing" matter.

great uni, people can be stuck up at times but the teaching's great, also lectures are recorded so cold days can be spent at home.

The campus is so good for students even the students there are very friendly and could get out with them easily also you can get a student internship if your grades are good

My course is very small and therefore allows the lecturers to know us all fairly well. The facilities such as replay are great as they allow you to never fall behind.

It is a very traditional university but I feel like the university holds back on putting money into accommodation or lecture theatres because it just relies on being traditional. It does, however, have some world class lecturers that are very willing to help you. I have met some lovely people st the uni and everyone seems willing to do things for fairness and equality. Mental health is something that is especially focused on currently which is great to see.

The University of Bristol is in my opinion a top university which harbours talents and intellectuals in all fields. The high level of education and the great quality of its facilities allow the students to hone their abilities and delve into whatever subjects, activities and areas which interest them. The one downside of the university is the speed at which they respond to complaints or requests; however, that being said I would recommend it to anyone taking their a levels at the moment. It's in a top city. Full of top people...and full of bottoms but lets not get too down about it. Focus on the positive. And there's a lot of positives to focus on here at the best university in south west England. That must be 100 words.

Great university, made me feel very welcome. Good campus, good facilities, good course, not much diversity but better than some other west country unis.

Studying veterinary science and love the interactive and practical nature of this course. With a majority of the course in Bristol city there is the chance to live a city life unlike some of the other universities offering veterinary as a degree.

I love my course it is childhood studies and it means I get to learn from all different subjects including psychology, sociology, health. I never get bored of it and gives me a lot of options for when I finished. The campus is good there is lots of new nice study spaces you can always find, the library is good although can get very busy. I have had a great experience although it is concerning the amount of suicides that have been reported from the university.

The university is generally excellent when it comes to teaching (law). There is a wide range of subjects and modules on offer, with staff having a diverse range of interests and specialisms. The option to study 6 modules per year rather than the usual 4 is an additional plus. The campus itself is extensive and ever growing. The facilities are also well maintained. The libraries are extravagant - though during exam season you are unlikely to find a seat! There are some books/readings not on offer at the library which can be frustrating, but tutors generally try to make provision for that. Sports facilities are decent. There are also many clubs and societies to get involved with.

I've generally loved my time at Bristol. The campus is in a great location (I'm based in Psychology), and the city is a great size. There's always something to do, but it's still small. Teacher support and learning facilities are average. I was at the university during the strikes, and the organisation throughout was poor (ended up affecting the students, when the University had control of that). The careers service is wonderful. Lots of really useful and informative talks, easy to book 1-to-1 meetings/career advice. I'm an international student, and I've found the visa service hugely supportive and helpful through the process of applying for a visa to come to the UK.

Being in the heart of the city, studying in University of Bristol allows me to focus on my studies while having convenient access to facilities (eg. shops, study centres, bus terminals). The staff for my course are extremely approachable and always take our feedback seriously. There are always events about Bristol, whether academic or extracurricular, to help us improve our skills or unwind.

The Univeristy of Bristol has an amazing campus, and a great range of courses with good integration between the courses so as to be able to socialise. If I could improve anything it would be the organisation of the university and their ability to publicise and advertise events successfully.

I love my course at Bristol. The lecturers and facilities are great, the campus is really pretty, and the union has lots on.

The accommodation I am in has been tricky since there has hardly been any functioning hot water whilst i have stayed here. The lectures for my course are good yet lack Organisation in terms of support when needing extra information and or help accessing extra reading sites. The sports facilities are good yet would be better if open 24 hours rather than short opening times.

Campus is really pretty and lots of study spaces (although they do get full at busy seasons). Careers service is excellent. SU is far and very bad for social events - no club or anything (and freshers was poor). Sports Centre is good but ends up being pricey.

Good uni, would recommend to a friend, bit far from home but very enjoyable, good course but lacking in support sometimes, student union doesn't do much and wastes money, vice cancelled doesn't care

The facilities are very good, the careers service has lots of useful workshops and is very active however the student's union is not the best as doesn't bring the uni together

I study chemistry and I think the school has some of the best facilities compared to most other universities, however I'm concerned that the focus on undergraduates will mean that postgraduate issues will become ignored. I think the university lacks are large study space for everyone. Seems to be a large focus on minorities in science which is good but isn't inclusive of everyone
