Good breadth and availability, bit stuck in their ways on some fronts. But in general a hell of a lot better than is made out by the papers.

The people are surprisingly normal, haven’t come across much of the negative stereotypes that I’d heard of. The work is intense but rewarding when you look back at all you’ve learned and done. Met a lot of like-minded people and made great friends. So many opportunities and services scattered around the city that it can be hard to keep on top of it all but I’d you can make he most of them then you’ll go far.

Uni of Cam gives you a unique experience but can be stressful - come if you love your subject and are ready to dedicate yourself to it.

A world class education that you simply won't find anywhere else. The facilties are mostly excellent and the teaching superlative but what's most important are the opportunities offered which are second to none!

Very intense and some resources are lacking but good level of contact hours and academic support. Welfare and access could be much better. Careers service is very good. I didn't pay to be part of the union but they have lots of events and talks.

I love my course and the opportunities it has given me. There is so much going on with societies, yoga classes, life drawing and movie screenings. The people are lovely, lecturers engaging and the content is challenging. After having studied at UCL, I can say I wouldn’t want to study anywhere else in the world.

The best university in the country. The greatest experience you might ever have, and so welcoming and humble. My teachers were generally amazing, and the care for each student fantastic. I went to Homerton, so can’t speak for the rest of the colleges, but the university is top notch.

An amazing uni and all the stereotypes are wrong! Do not be afraid to apply if you are from a stage school because it is totally possible to get in just go for it! You won’t regret it I promise!

I love Cambridge because of the numerous opportunities it provides, from extracurriculars to career conventions. It can be very stressful at times, hence only the four stars, but I could not imagine being anywhere else.

I really like Cambridge. Is a great place to learn and to develop myself as an individual. Cambridge University is a great university.

Great inspirational teachers and cutting edge research. Sadly, often a lack of facilities that are more common in other universities. Many events exclusive to your college, for better or for worse. The university buildings are quite nice and give a scenic view to the whole city. As a visiting international student, theres jot much for me to do as i did not get hosted by a college.

You can find just about anything you need here. Facilities are great. Course tends to be a bit hectic because it's squeezed into 8 week terms. Not too pleased with the Student Union as they have supported UCC Strikes without asking for the opinions of students. Generally a really good environment for some intellectual discussions. My favourite part of the university is its weird quirks and traditions, such as old hall formals, gowns, and swaps. Definitely would recommend this amazing university to anyone lookig for a challenge!

Very well structured course for undergrads, academic support is amazing. Supervisions push students whilst helping them through tougher materials. lectures are fast paced though, and a lot of effort is required to keep up. Expect 40 hour work weeks as a 1st yea4 undergrad.

Supervisions really help to teach you everything you need to know, especially because they are usually in pairs so it's like having your own tutor. I do engineering and we have labs all the time that help to teach you the same content as lectures but with a practical approach. There's a mix of group labs and pair work so you get to try working with different people. The department also allows you to study a language but I haven't done this. The careers lady at the department is really good and will help you write cvs and get internships (a compulsory part of the course).

there's always a lot happening at Cambridge, so whether it's the careers service contacting you about events, or your department telling you about the latest talks, or just the student union letting you know they've got a chill night for you to go to – you're never bored and you can always be learning!

My uni has great over all factlices from the social life to the teachers. From it might lack in open space it makes up for in culture and ways of living

The campus is great as it's a collegate university, the colleges create a really friendly and supportive environment where it's easy to make friends. I study natural sciences, the course is incredibly intense and are times I think the work load is excessive, there are Saturday lectures! But the content is interesting and it provides a great grounding in science. I haven't made much contact with the student union or careers service really.

This is a great university with world class teaching and facilities. The libraries are incredibly well stocked and the colleges are beautiful.

Mostly excellent course and great facilities. There is good support within colleges, however the stress imposed by the heavy workload is a con.

Although the workload is very intense, everyone here is extremely enthusiastic about their course subject and has a strong desire to learn more. Everyone is in on the same boat so even though it can be stressful at times, you know that everyone is feeling the same way and do not need to feel like you are behind.

The college and whole city is beautiful and a lovely place to live and the facilities are excellent, though often quite far out.

Cambridge is a great city with lots to offer. College life is great to make close friends and socialise. Facilities such as lecture theatres, labs and practical sessions are very good, and teaching is top class. If you can fit it in nightlife is also pretty good, with plenty of bars, pubs and clubs.
