Small campus but lovely welcoming group of people. The halls are on campus which proves easy access and all the buildings are not far away. There is a good choice of food at the canteen.

The university of Chichester has made me feel welcome and always helped me with any issues or concerns I’ve had. They take mental health and/or physical disability very seriously which helps for a more enjoyable and smooth ride throughout the 3+ years you’re there. The facilities and course material are good. Tutors help you throughout the journey and I’m glad I chose to study here.

BSc (Hons) Psychology

Throughout my time at the University of Chichester, I have never once doubted whether the degree I decided to do was the right one for me. I've enjoyed every moment of it. Considering the course is only 6/7 years old, it offers a good range of content which gave me a great insight into the different fields and perspectives in psychology - helping me to make a decision in what area I would like to eventually pursue a career in. I felt the structure of the course sufficiently prepared me well for the subsequent years and to go on and do a Master's after graduation.

BA (Hons) English and Creative Writing
3.0 out of 5 stars based on 1 review
3.0 / 1 review

English and creative writing is a three year course and for the first two years you do pretty much the same thing. This means the course doesn't really become specified until the final year. Compared to how this course is structured at other universities, it feels like a waste of a year.
Additionally on the course, no time is spent in making students feel comfortable with one another. This can make it uncomfortable when it comes to work-shopping in creative classes and can make it hard to get honest feedback, which makes it hard to re-draft.

BA (Hons) Physical Education and Sports Coaching

The University itself is very nice with new building work taking place and has plenty of sporting facilities. The course itself is very broad which is good as it covers a whole spectrum of sports pathways. My personal favourite is Performance Analysis but motor learning development is also very good. The lectures are very informative and helpful.

The teaching is at a very good standard with the tutors being extremely helpful and being enthusiastic about the subject itself. Tutorials are available a lot of the time too and the forms of assessments eg. Portfolio is a good way of assessing the module and what you learn.
