Offers great ways to improve employability and legal skills through the various legal competitions. The students who run these are really friendly, well organised and efficient, offering really helpful feedback. The only downside about the competitions is that you have to pay £15 a year for the opportunity to take part in these so they almost exclude people who cannot afford to do this. The social side is good with regularly organised socials, like every 3 weeks. They are always themed and based on what everyone would like. The law balls are well organised and good value for money. You get a nice 3 course meal at a posh venue. Each member of the committee who organises each aspect is reliable and efficient. They make sure they contact and reach out to people through different platforms to make sure everyone is included.

Extremely expensive society to join and the amount you receive by joining does not justify the high price. Socials are almost entirely geared towards clubbing and drinking and if you are not interested in these things there will be almost nothing for you. Society competitions are poorly run and seem to be based more on who the competition co-ordinaries are friends with rather than who deserves to go through to the next round. Elections are a popularity contest rather than based on merit.
