The new business school on Oxstalls campus is impressive but I still do not think the university experience is worth the £9000 a year.

Park campus is such a lovely campus to study on, Beautiful scenery especially the lake on site with the ducks 🦆 .‚ The staff are really friendly and the food is lovely at the campus refectory.

I am an international student, I really enjoy my university life.. there are lot of facilities and events taking part each day. Everyone is friendly and ready to help you when you are in need.

Film Production course is poorly organised and has a ridiculous grading system which means that essentially one member of a group not pulling their weight can drag the whole group down so everyone fails. Lecturers provide limited reasoning behind grades that don't make sense, and there is also no appeal process. I worked extremely hard on one assignment and failed, yet feigned work for another and received a strong pass. What is going on?? Poor communication, never knowing where the lectures are being held or what days to go in. Lecturers rely on communication and planning/organising lectures and workshops through Facebook which is often catastrophic as notices can get lost or posted last minute! There is a good helpzone and some support in the university, but some members of staff can be rude and just want to encourage you to spend more money. Don't recommend, especially not the Film Production course. If you can do something more academic, it's probably going to be better. Starting to wish I had gone for something more like English Literature where I can rely on my own work to get a grade.

The university is conformed by three different campuses that in my opinion they have their own beauty. The park campus has a lake and is full of nature that invite us to relax and to have a calm time. On the other hand the other campus that is in Cheltenham is more historical. Some of their buildings were in a time chapels and the other ones are more modern. Telling us the difference of time and the history that ones was in there. The campus in Gloucester has different buildings of the 21st century, is the most modern campus in the university. My course has been helpful to me since I have improved my knowledge in different areas giving me not only theory but also practical classes in order to learn more about the topic.

I'm loving my time at the University of Gloucestershire. The highlight of this university is definitely the lecturers who consistently pour their 100% into not only teaching me the fundamentals but also shaping me to become career ready. I've learned so much about the professional industry and they've given me countless advice for me to get there. The university also has set up a 'My Future Plan' program which further helps the students prepare for their future, grabbing job opportunities, pre and post graduation. I'm situated at Park Campus of UOG which gives off a very serene and peaceful vibe.

Great university with some great facilities. A lovekl atmosphere with a wonderful student union presence. Hospitality and help is easily available and with so many places to work and study it makes university life Great!

History course doesn't provide a lot of flexibility in terms of the topics covered, feedback can vary in usefulness. Lecturers are mostly approachable and friendly. Decent employability team and opportunities for internships or extra training. The wellbeing and disability team are pretty good although there is often a huge waiting list for these services if you don't get in with them at the start. Francis Close Hall campus is gorgeous, and in a really good location close to town. Not much parking. Facilities are well kept and modern. Student union bar is fairly cheap and cosy, lots going on.

The campus and facilities are extremely good. The environment around the campus is relaxing and not too hectic. The campus is beautiful with a lot of wildlife and a small lake in the middle. Only downside about the facilities is that there was never any room in the library. It wasn't very big so you would have to turn up very early to get a seat. My course, Media Production was excellent in providing a variety of modules to study and I was able to learn a lot of valuable skills that I will be able to use in the industry after university. I was also able to apply for some work experience which gave me an idea of what it is like to work in the industry.

Although I have had a generally positive time over my 3 years here, this is largely down to the friends that I have met and the sheer amount of time and effort that I have spent doing things of my own accord. The university has been unsupportive of my course with no extra assistance being given considering that we are a newly developing course. Unprepared from the get go with minimal facilities, unsuitable studios and lecturers and a general sense of disorganisation all round. Where it has seemed that other courses have access to a course budget to assist students, we have sen nothing. I have personally had to pay out hundreds of pounds of my own money on top of my tuition to provide things which are compulsory for the course because the university has refused to subsidise costs, this includes printing, art supplies and compulsory trips which other courses all get for free! In our third year we have lecturers who are purposefully denying us graduate opportunities through spite, and refusing to help students with work! All in all it can be seen in the satisfaction ratings and graduate prospects of all students on the course that it has hardly been worth our time or money being here at all.

Great location, help towards international students is very good. Facilities that are provided are always open and people are welcoming and there to help if you need anything. Studying Events Management which allows you to get as much experience as needed as well as theory that you’ll need in the future. Student union could be improved a bit more instead if just looking like a restaurant with a football table in there. It looks quite boring but a new building is being built for business students which will have a new student union. Absolutely do not regret moving to the UK for this University

Great helpful staff who are very approachable. Oxtalls is so easy to find your way around as there’s endless signposts. The halls are all perfectly located with a maximum 15 minute walk. You get to know your lecturers really well as there’s small class sizes

The university is a really lovely campus. It’s pretty, I like the way it’s split over Gloucester and Cheltenham but when everyone comes together there is a really family feel about the university. The course offers a cast amount of opportunities that I know many universities do not. I also feel as though the course modules are extremely knowledgable as well as friendly and approachable. They offer support constantly while during your time at university. I feel as though the university is under rated massively due to the size of it compared to other universities. I love it at university of Gloucestershire.

They don't do what they said they did on the inductions, feel like I've been lead on. There is also mass favouritism with lecturers

It’s good Really far away Open when snow storms Lecturers don’t help with assignments as much as they should Need help with further reading from lectures Talk to fast to take notes

I commute, so arguably do not have the full, authentic uni experience, but it is not that that is important to me. I got out of a mind-numbing job, and was desperate to use my brain again. This need has been well and truly met through a diverse and original curriculum, provided by passionate tutors. There are good resources, and my campus is truly beautiful

The uni as a whole is very good. The park campus especially is a nige place to study. Some subject are better taught that others and the SU could do with some improvements.

Helpful with mental health and overall health issues, not so great with issues with your course as they try to tell you that there aren't these issues as other years have not had these issues. Great facilities.

The university has some great facilities, however it lacks in some places and depth. Maybe in the are of the students union, not the most important factor of the uni as a whole, but that may be important to some students main choices

The university of Gloucestershire is a local university to me. I’m currently studying at the FCH campus and I believe this campus is the worst campus of the 3 in regards to its facilities and parking. The university student union is a major positive as it provides a stable platform for advice and feedback to be given/gathered. Overall my university experience has not lived up to what I expected, the course I study was presented as something that it is not, however being on my 3 year I’m hopefully and confident that the university will provide me the platform to gain my degree.

The campus is very large and friendly. I get along with everyone I see and there USB always some member of staff to talk to I if I need assistance.
