I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Huddersfield. The facilities were great, helpful friendly staff and lecturers, and I left with a great degree!

I am really glad to be a part of the University of Huddersfield. It's a gold-rated university and has one the best faculty! For a course like mine, one would prefer a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The location of the campus and the cooperative staff has been very delivering so far! I love how organized every event is and how much effort is being put into building a very professionally understanding between teachers and the students, especially the international students. Everyone is helpful at my Uni. The Students Union is a great place to make new friends or even start a new job! I am amazed by how everything about my campus is very updated. This university makes me feel at home even though I'm miles away from home. I am looking forward to becoming a notable alumni of the Uni! It would be a really great thing.

Overall a great university! The staff were very useful and willing to help all the time. In the psychology department especially there was always a member of staff available to help you in any way. The facilities In the school are pretty good and they are always improving them. The student community are quite friendly and you'll make a ton of friends!

Loved this university! All staff were very helpful, interacting and useful! The facilities were very good and they were also developing more and extending the buildings. Lectures were relevant and seminars were most useful allowing students to ask any questions in smaller groups instead of in a massive lecture hall.

For a student who stayed at home, the university provided me with everything I needed. The buildings were to a high standard and were ever-expanding. The course was good and the staff, mostly, even better.

Best uni ever. The university of Huddersfield was one of the many universitys I visited whilst in college. If you are thinking of studying law it has one of the best programmes in the country. The lecutrers are really great and hapoy to help any time you ask for it. There are many facilities that cater to helping students with any difficulties they have. The night life Iis amazing with cities like leeds and manchester a train or bus ride away. The accomodation is better than most places and most private landlords cater to student needs.

Everything is good, all amebities are provided. Library is really big so you can find almost everything what you re looking for. Lecture theatres could be a little bit bigher but overall they are good and recently furnished.

I think the university needs to improve and upgrade their Student union area massively as it's slacking compared to other universities. Also I think they need a better support service where people may he available even through holidays.

The university of Huddersfield has an up-and-coming campus, many changed are being made that are beneficial not only from an academic perspective, but for the locals too. Student life is thriving in Huddersfield, yet there are aspects that keep it homely. The campus has many facilities for students, an amazing SU and several coffee shops to entertain the caffeine addicts amongst us! I originally did an undergraduate degree in psychology with counselling BSc (Hons). I enjoyed my undergrad so much I continued onto masters by research in psychology, as per a fee waiver that the university offers. Following on from my masters, I have had access to a PhD transfer which I am currently undertaking. The university is very supportive, offering extensions and emotional support with issues that have arisen not only for me, but when my friends have had issues also. The university is constantly offering professional development and have careers opportunities and support. Overall, I really enjoy my experience of the university and I am glad to be there.

The university isn’t as big of advanced as some but it makes it more homely and welcoming and I feel more comfortable studying there. Saying this, it has a wide variety of facilities and spans to everyone’s needs.

A very welcoming university with amazing people to work with on my Drama course. A fun course but very interesting at the same time. Around campus is friendly and always a lot going on, many people around all the time to ask for any help. The facilities are really good and useful for when work needs to be done.

Good uni however one of the main things that needs improving is the feedback of work from tutors. Plenty of times i remember going to tutors to get work checked before submitting and reviewing and the tutors feedback does not match that which is actually received when getting results. All in all good uni.

Good student union with different options for food and drinks. Many places to sit and chill with sofas and plug sockets to study. 6th floor library connected to the student union. Very modern lecture halls.

I study psychology & counselling. The course is amazing but some of the content can be quite repetitive. In regards to counselling the only real practice we got to put the skills we studied about in to actual effect was in second year & now in third year we did no practice sessions at all.

Excellent university would recommend, the whole university experience was something I would never forget. The stress the assignment deadline the night life meeting new people from all over the world was what made the whole experience amazing

My course was fantastic for the first year! Great teaching, great support, great facilities! But in second year that all went. The teaching standard went down, they didn’t inform up about all our deadlines at the start of the year and then didn’t explain properly what we were meant to do for our assignments. We also received emails from the teaching staff telling us not to email them as they’re “too busy” and this was 2 weeks before a big deadline! When we approached our concerns as a course to the uni they just tried to pin it on us saying “well the lecturers and tutors said they told you” “you must not be paying attention” “you’re not accessing the material provided”. Well 1. Of course they won’t admit to not telling us about deadlines and what we have to do because that’s them admitting they’ve failed at their job and 2. Why would we access the materials provided if we didn’t know we had to because we didn’t know what we were doing? The whole year has been a sham. They say they’re doing something but I’ve seen little change and feel like I can’t really talk to anyone anymore and they’ll just say it’s our fault again.

Huddersfield uni is very warm and welcoming. I felt right at home since day 1, there are always people available to help however you need it and it’s a brilliant advocate for mental health awareness and support

I felt as though some lecturers were not helpful at all. I was laughed at by one of my lecturers during a lesson for asking a question. There was never any support given for assignments. When support was available e.g. mandatory one to ones I still felt like I was not helped. I was constantly struggling. This as you can imagine really dampened my uni experience.

Good campus and SU. Some issues with the course but nothing major that isn't being solved. Could be more events for all students not just reps etc
