The closest town to campus offers a student-friendly high street, modern shopping area, four big supermarkets within walking distance of the bus station, and a market four times a week selling everything from fruit to furniture.
The centre of town boasts an eight screen Vue cinema, bowling and entertainment complex, plus plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs. Close to the centre are the Jubilee2 swimming pool and sport centre and the New Vic Theatre.

The course is challenging but there is a lot of support from the uni. lecturers are friendly. there are lots of reflective portfolios to do which can get repetitive. The modules are interactive which makes the learning easier and more interesting.
Brilliant university, good range of placements for mental health nursing and good support from personal tutors and lecturers if needed, very understanding.
