My university experience has been very mixed. I have had times where I have enjoyed my time there and others where it has been not so good. Overall I would consider my time at university good as I have learned a lot and have had many varied experiences.

The university is in a cheap place in the country so that means cheaper living, from nights out to products to housing. The uni does well to reflect this with most halls being easily affordable

From day one the uiversity was very welcoming and wonderful, there were talks for freshers so they could feel more welcome along with day events for them to find societies they were interested in. Over the course of the three years the lecturers were always welcoming and had an open door policy so you could go see them for any problems. They always tried to help, and were clear and detailed when it came to answers or help. Meeting with your tutor also helped vastly to see if you were on trakc and they helped if you needed it.

This degree is excellent because it allows me to combine the two areas that I find most interesting and academically valuable. The IR section of my course is well designed, interesting and brought to life with a wide selection of perspectives! Marketing is also very interested and has an amazing application to the real world!
I would definitely recommend this combination and Keele is one of the best and up and coming Universities!

Neuroscience and psychology as most people would agree is a great combination due to the fact they link together so perfectly. Most aspects of neuroscience such as learning about the origins of the brain and how it has developed makes it note interesting to learn and more important makes me love my course more. The topics are immense ranging from learning about drugs to plasticity and a personal favourite of mine, neurological disorders.

Course module review - Codes and Cryptography, 09/03/2017

Submitted by Anonymous on

This has been my favourite module of this course. It's something unique in the fact that it deals with coding messages, and encrypting different things using mathematics. It has some knowledge based on a previous module but is taught in a way so that if you haven't done that module you won't be left behind. It is also quite a useful module for post university life if you enjoy it (as I did!)

Course module review - From Neurone to Brain, 21/05/2016

Submitted by Anonymous on

This is one of the modules I enjoyed the most during the course of my degree. The subject is self is very interesting and current in neuroscience topics. The module content was advanced but not too much that it was well understood. The assessments were a good learning process because it helped engage in the subject and when it got to exams I had already learnt most of the materials. We had laboratory sessions and a few trips to the medical school which made the module even more interesting.
