The University teaching is very professional, nevertheless lecturers never seem to have time to talk and are in a hurry to leave the lecture. Lecturers treat students like they are superior and university staff are simply unfriendly, especially in the registry and psychology department. Students are treated unfairly. Living on campus is nice, the facilities are great but it is managed really badly. Rooms are being checked and personal belongings taken away. When there's a real problem then nobody cares. I feel that the staff treat students like children and without any respect. The campus shop 'essentials' is way to expensive, better to go into town for your weekly shop. On campus the library is amazing though, very modern and comfortable, great place to study in peace. The campus is green and its beautiful in the summer. But the University lecturers and staff need to be friendlier and more understanding in regards to costs, documents and overall treatment. The University doesn't understand that the money is coming from the students, they take our money but give little in return! Please improve.

I'm international and I don't feel included at all. It takes a long time to make friends and even then everyone is for themselves.

There is a medical centre that is very helpful and a nursing service which you don't even need an appointment for.

Studying sociology for a degree has had its challenges. It is very theory based and there is a lot of content to remember. But even so the information that you learn becomes very helpful and interesting in your every day life. You'll start using the theories you've found in your life and it can make you understand society a whole lot more. The forms of assessment can be difficult, it is a mixture of essays, exams or even presentations but they all give you a different perspective on sociology and what your are learning.

Course module review - Cell Biology, 10/03/2017

The first section if this is A Level and taught my the lovely Louise Beard who is really concise with her teaching and explains things well and is a really nice helpful person. The second section is about chemical processes of cells and I don't like chemistry so I hated this part but it's really important to learn it so even though the second lecturer's teaching is boring, learn the content, learn from my mistakes. The first section is east the second section's complexity ups x7 so watch out.
