Action

One of the best volunteering groups I have ever been a part of. Action gives you the opportunity to be involved in and even run projects working with disadvantaged children, young carers, children with disabilities, and the elderly. Action run after school clubs, care home visits, day trips out, and residential weekends. They do pretty much everything from arts and crafts, bingo and quizzes, all the way up to rock climbing and kayaking, all covered by the society’s funds! Action never ask for your money, only your time, and even then there’s no minimum time commitment. You can volunteer as little or as often as you like to fit around your schedule, and with so many projects to choose from there’s always something you can get involved in.
