This is a great university that has widened my options in terms of social circle as well as academic experiences. My career prospects have been infinitely improved by my attendance at the University of Liverpool and for that I am grateful.

The quality of teaching is hit and miss, with some great lecturers and some unengaging or hard to follow. Support for mental health or personal issues is horrendous, after losing my father and best friend I've never been offered support, and was ignored the one time I asked.

History department wasn’t well organised, really hard to get in contact with anyone however business department was good. Some lecture theatres a bit tired looking and many hard to find. Maps hard to understand.

Some of the buildings are abit old and library can get full quickly but teaching standard generally good and very fun place to live

Liverpool, home to the Beatles, Mersey ferries, and the UK’s nightlife capital is also home to the university of Liverpool. A uni steeped in history which some what struggles to find its place in the modern era. In nearly all aspects the university lags behind its counterparts. The library cold, dark and straight out of the 1980s makes for a very difficult environment to work. The campus itself though charming has many flaws which only become noticeable once teaching starts and your lecture is in a tiny broom store on the other side of campus. Then there is the teaching, this is what let my course down so much, the teaching was dated and rigid, though priding themselves on flexibility, the course begged to differ.

Good facilities available, loads of staff on hand for support and quick response time to emails. Lectures are spread out throughout the week plus the designated lab days are good.

Vital is a bit unreliable at times with stream capture not capturing some lectures at points, although when it does work it is a very useful method of relaying the lecture. I like the idea of have societies, as it allows you to meet others, although the geography and sociology societies are a bit inactive in organising socials.

Campus, accessibility (transport and walking routes) and library facilities are all great, making comut and easy work bearable. However, it would be great if there was more help for struggling students and more of a variety masters topics.

Great uni to study at where the lecturers are helpful and provide plenty of resources for us. The uni itself has great facilities and it is convenient to get around campus but also to walk to town.

The campus is modern with new improvements always being made but with a nice combination of old red brick buildings. The student union hosts hundreds of events to suit all tastes and gives an overall great experience

Excellent! I have a lovely time at university, everyone's so lovely and helpful especially when I don't know how to do something, the tutors are very informative and give lots of different ways I can present my work. This help so that my work stands out from other students and isn't the same to others!

The University has a high standard of teaching in most areas, with a good access to resources and the library. It also offers study abroad opportunities as career options. It has good student support and the loaction is very close to the city centre which gives students an all round experience.
