The business school of Northumbria university is modern and perfectly equipped. The campus offers plenty of student life options for students and courses of Business school are taught by professionals with plenty of experience and amazing approach towards students. The library, open 24/7 is absolutely awesome and easily accessible. Overall, I can highly appreciate the university.

The campus at Northumbria is extremely friendly and welcoming. There’s multiple different spaces for you to do your work in different settings. For example there are areas for group work and chatting areas and there’s areas for silent study. This means there’s an area to work which suits every body. Not only this, the careers service are brilliant, they offer you one-to-one advice about how to go about your aspirations like what you need to do, placements/volunteering and how you apply for it etc.

The campus is in a very good location and is clean. The buildings are modern although some lecture rooms lack air conditioning and can become very stuffy. My course offers a wide range of opportunities and the lecturers are always available to help.

I am currently in my second year at Northumbria University studying digital forensics. In our first year the facilities were fairly average, however coming in to second year we are placed in a new building with all of the facilities that would be required for most computing courses. Most of the lectures are interesting learning from people who have worked in the field; however some lectures are hard to understand and can make the lectures feel long and boring.

It is a great university with lots of help for students. I have been here for the last four years and it has helped me to achieve amazing future prospects. I believe that Northumbria University has helped so many people and all the teachers are very helpful. There is a lot of support for students regarding mental health and other disabilities and it really does make it a good environment to work in. There are a few organisational skills that they could work on including timetabling and other things regarding putting work up on the ELP in time for students to be able to have a good amount of time to do their work successfully without rushing.

Northumbria is a great uni for all types of people. To start it's nice and laid back, it's not full of pretentious academics, there's no aristocratic lecturers, they're people just as normal as the rest of us, they always seem willing to care about you and are enthusiastic about what they teach. The student union executive team seem active and welcoming. The library is stellar with lots of resources and many online ones, the Elp, blackboard is also well used by staff.

Northumbria university is a great place to study. I'm studying fine art and even though I don't enjoy the course as much as I thought I would, I have had great help from the student support services. They have been more than helpful on getting me back on track, helping me to stay in university and helping with my overall studies.

I am thoroughly enjoying university life. Being away from home forces you to form a sense of individuality and independency. This helps set you up for future life. The nightlife at university and the social aspect in general is very good in which I have made many new friends.

A cracking good university but often underlooked by potential undergraduates. Northumbria has a massive student base from all walks of life and benefits from being in the best student city in the country; Newcastle is very affordable and always has lots going on with a thriving music scene, lots of trendy arty stuff, a passionate football club and of course the best nightlife. Northumbria really pulls out the stops for its students and doesn't let them be forgotten. The students Union is led by a very strong student initiative based design where student issues are frequently fought for, and won by the union; the union also has a fully paid team to take on student issues so you're not simply reliant on student representatives. Northumbria also have their own letting agents to help students find somewhere to live at very reasonable rates (40-70 £pw). The IT support sustems in place are one of the best, your work is constantly backed up automatically so you'll never lose anything important. If you do have a problem though, they're got a 24/7 help desk.
