Beautiful campus which is always great to explore with opportunities to ride on the lake, play mini golf and many other opportunities. From a Maths degree prospective the building is brand new and there are many private study rooms with whiteboards to avoid distractions. Student Union is currently under construction but it does have many places to eat, but it does lack a nightclub. But places in town accommodate for this.

Cripps Health Centre has provided great support for me during my time at Nottingham. For mental health the university does provide a counselling service for support. This came in handy when I was mugged at knife point during my 3rd year of university.

Careers service was not useful to me, was basically a man with a computer who googles the career you suggest you're interested in, something that you can obviously do yourself at home (and probably already have done to suggest a career in the first place) Amazing campus, SU was okay..never really came in use for me personally though. Course was also okay.. required more emphasis on plants as well as human/animal biology and possibly more applied modules.

Doctors were pretty dismissive in my experience. I didn't require mental health support but I have head from friends that services like counselling had a very long waiting list

Studying in the Univeristy of Nottingham means me not only studying in a fantastic and really high-quality place, making friendships form all over the world, one of best teaching quality, the most motivating, helpful and well-trained teachers, the infinitely opportunites from volunteering till relaxing, but also life-long experiences and the most memorable moments.

The content is relaventto practice and is well structured. The lecturer explains the theory well and ensures things are interesting. For the assignment we was well prepared and it was clear what we needed to do. Overall I really enjoyed doing this module.

I really enjoyed this module and have nothing negative to say about it. The staff were all brilliant, very engaging and helpful if you have questions. It was great to have the chance to visit psychiatric wards as this dispelled some misconceptions that I had about the speciality. The assessment is all coursework which I found great as you could prepare for it and it got it out of the way before exam season.

Despite having to trek across campus to my lectures for this module at the very end of the day (4-5pm lectures). And despite the rather scary lecturer. Microbiology, though a lot of work, turned out to be rather interesting. It took a while to begin understanding, though once I'd got hold of the basics, I found it rather enjoyable.
