the campus is pretty but there aren't enough events on. More live music events involving the students and things to create a buzz around campus would be great

the hardship fund process was long and almost felt like begging. I'd receive words of discouragement along the way as though I wouldn't receive anything.

The campus and facilities are great, so are most of the halls. The marking and online services aren’t great.

Course review , 13/05/2017

It's great to get the mixture of subjects. It makes you work really hard because you have to manage two subjects. But going from one to the other can be really fun. The only down side is that you miss out on useful modules because you're only doing half of each subject. So modules on critical essay writing etc in Psychology I don't do. Art is less stressful because you spend all term building up your work and then usually have a final exhibition assessment at the end of the term. Whereas Psychology you have heavy exams in Summer terms.

Course module review - International Development: Global and Local Issues, 11/03/2017

I am really pleased with the course structure - you have 4 lectures followed by a mini-exam. I think this helps focus your attention, and revise at several points during the year instead of cramming.

The powerpoint include lots of videos, with real life case studies and scenario and the emphasis on 'people' makes it highly interesting to learn about.

Course module review - International Economics, 03/03/2017

I personally didn't enjoy this module. Having never studied economics previously, I felt I was thrown in at the deep end with little explanation of basic concepts and terms. The quality of lectures was generally lower than in other modules, and my seminar leader was definitely below par.
However, by the end of the year I felt I had a good general (basic) understanding of the global economy and many issues that had been alien to me at the start of the year.
