Study film production. Needs improvement on the teaching staff majorly. Could be a great course if that aspect is improved.

Parts of the campus outdated, facilities for built environment students limited e.g software computers. Lack of organisation and preparation in modules. Lack of communication between lectures and head of modules

The university gets refurbished pretty much year, amazing professors and excellent staff. I study Architectural design and technology and it has been an amazing and easy journey because of the all the facilities and helps provided by the teachers and the university. Excellent career service providing jobs related to their courses and normal jobs at university which fitts with class times. Helpful and friendly student union staff with quite quick tracking to resolve students problems. In totall it is an amazing university for those who look for good journey and live student life.

Since I have started at the university, the campus has grown and developed dramatically! There are new facilities. They have updated the library. Peel park has even had a makeover! Making it lot less of a scary place of night, and becoming a beautiful park.

Salford uni provides a variety of facilities which accommodate to everyone, I have enjoyed my course over the past few years and my tutors have helped me to build on my confidence as well as help with projects and assignments, guiding me in the right direction to achieve the best.

The peel park campus is really nice and you can tell a lot of effort and money has gone into it. The student union is a really great place to go for food and drinks and is really nicely decorated inside. They also do really great student nights with something suitable for everyone. The uni also has a very helpful ‘askus’ service which is amazing for helping students with anything from money issues to mental health. It’s a really sociable uni with lots of societies to get involved with.

Good university as a whole, lectures are well ran and lecturers and module leaders are always very supportive and informative of help that is available. Facilities of the university are of good standard, in relation to the campus itself and lecture theatres. Library is of a very good standard and a great place to get work done.

My MA course was poorly organised, mis-communicated with next to no assistance from lecturers. This accumulated in them not getting my dissertation marked in time so I had to wait 3 months for my results.

The University of Salford has been a great University to complete my BSc Diagnostic Radiography degree. I feel as though the support I have recieved has helped me in times of difficulty. This is especially evident when exam period arrives. The facilities the University provides have been very useful and greatly helpful. However, the organisation of blackboard could be improved.

The course (BA TV & Radio) is absolutely amazing, the amount of opportunities which can come from it. The nightlife in Salford isn’t amazing but with Manchester only being a stones throw away you are never stuck for places to visit.

The university of Salford is a great university in a great location. Close enough to city centre and cheap in taxi’s to get to town for a night in in Manchester. My course was great, however some tutors could get back on email quicker. A lot is always going on, a lot of student housing, the student union and peel Park is a great halls fo start off with. There is a sports centre on campus, with access to the gym and swimming pool for good student prices. The train station is right next to peel park, and there is a shopping centre and buses everywhere. And a 30 minutes walk into town. The uni itself has nice facilities and a nice atmosphere. I am so happy I chose to do my course here.

Salford university is a very diverse institute with pupils of many ages and different backgrounds. Overall the teaching and university facilities are adequate , however a lot of improvement is required in terms of student culture and reputation.

Overal a not bad experience.University is held back by lack of engagement in the curiculum and really shallow preparation for career.Pros would include the employability team and the different engagement activities outside of curiculum.

The university house which support the student are helpful and friendly. They help me to solve many problems in my study life.

The campus that I am based at at the University of Salford is aesthetically pleasing, with a variation of places to eat, study, and a very large accommodating library. The student union has a very active presence, and does seem to be very involved with university life. I study English Literature, and have found that the course content itself is very rich and interesting, but can sometimes not be taught as well as it needs to be. However, I am learning a lot on this course, despite receiving little help off my lecturers.

The University of Salford School of Science, Computing and Engineering provides great practical opportunities to learn how to apply the knowledge obtained in classes. Students union organizes many talks and events to help you develop yourself.

Salford Uni has shot up in popularity in the past 3 years and I can see why! The building of the new adelphi building, new accommodation blocks and the full refurbishment of the 24/7 on campus library. The university has come a long way in the past 3 years and the facilities are second to none. The Student bar is open 12am till 12pm every day of the week and 12pm till 3am Saturdays. Salford has MediaCity UK which is also a fantastic campus for media, and really makes the university stand out amongst the rest!

The university it’s self is avtuslly a little far out Not much to eat there. The campus however is rather nice in the summer and is actually a nice place to chill

I loved some of my tutors, they were really approachable, supportive and helpful. The laboratories at the University had been developed recently and the technology in the labs is just fantastic. With screens in all sides of the room to see exactly what the lecturer is doing when demonstrating the experiment. More awareness should of been done in forms of letters as to which modules were compulsory to attend to. If one did not attend then they should of at least called up or emailed ? But none of this was done which resulted in me really doing badly in my statistics during my second year unfortunately.

Nice friendly uni, close to a small shopping centre where you can get cheap food, free bus to and from uni is very handy, very close to Manchester but not too close that you feel like you live in a city. Teachers are friendly and helpful and try their hardest to help

Everyone went on strike, which negatively affected my education. I paid a lot of money to come here and did not even get the chance to actually have time with my professors.

There were many strikes this semester so I missed out on a ton of classes. However, the campus is very innovative and has very beautiful and technology friendly places for students to work. Media City in particular is a awesome space for students to learn.
