Campus well maintained and compact. Top quqlity new facilities. Course comtent challenging but manageable
Great learning environment, and very diverse culture. The University has activities lined up throughtout the year to encourage student interaction both in class and outside of class.
Amazing teaching and great support from lecturers. Good sports facilities and wide range of social clubs. Active student union.
Salford had really made me fit in as a student, as the student union held many events to get everyone's together and so much information was given to freshers so no one got lost. By learning up at media city I definitely feel like I have an upper hand with learning facilities as there are so many qualified people as lecturers.
I’ve just gone into my third year of studying sociology. The university provides you with a lot of advice and assistance as well as the tutors. The careers services also provides you great advice to plan your next steps into your future. And when you need a break from studying you can use the sports centre that has a gym and swimming pool in it.
The campus of the University of Salford is not large and not too small, every building is in close proximity to one another & all can be reached easily on foot. My course of civil engineering & the course has been enjoyable, there is a lot of deadlines but it’s something you adjust to. You get the support you need when you need it, the staff are very helpful and will never turn you away when you ask for help. Salford university is great if you’re looking for a placement year or job, they constantly have job fairs throughout the year and they’re extremely helpful and important for your life after university. The sports facilities are great but the gym and changing rooms need to be updated & refurbished. The students union is great but there aren’t many societies to join.
Campus and living accommodation in the area is amazing. Facilities at the uni are great, there’s a good range but it’s fairly dull. My course are unorganised and don’t listen to anything students have to say. I do theatre
At Salford university it really depends on the course you do in terms of having a good facility. If you are doing media or anything like that they are brilliant because you have access to media city and really good equipment. Where as in the Engineering department there isn’t a lot you can actually do. There is no practical side to it really. The lecture halls are mostly modern and have everything you would need.
Campus continues to grow and look more beautiful and more conducive for students. One of the best student unions. Great university overall
Facilities are amazing they've just renovated and made new buildings and the space of the lecture rooms are impressive. The labs are amazing the layout of these are spacious. The course I'm on is Biomedical Science and its a very interesting yet very compact course. The support from the lecturers is very useful.
