The University of Sheffield

The environment and the facilites are just fantastic, I always feel like the university is always behind me whenever I need some help or advice they are there to help. 5/5 it describes everything.

The campus at university of Sheffield is amazing with most university buildings located within a short walk from each other. The buildings are all easy to find, well equipt and clean. The facilities are good with a lot of libraries where staff are willing to help.

The campus is easy to navigate and the course is really open. There's plenty of extra opportunities to get involved in. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The uni is really welcome and it helps anyone that needs it. The course starts easy and with a lot of help

I absolutely love Sheffield as a city and the great university and it's standards make it. The union is fantastic, offering a wide range of places to eat as well as selling university clothes and essentials. It is also contains a lively bar and nightclub which holds fun events every week. It is also student lead, which makes it so much more close to home. The careers sevice offers lots of advice on work experience, volunteering and applying for jobs. All the buildings on campus are within walking distances, with the union at the heart. The sports facilities and gym are also very close by. I would recommend Sheffield University so all students looking for a great university to study at, within a brilliant city.

Students Union is by far one of the best that I have ever been to on a night out. There is so much on offer and is a really inclusive place to just go and hang out.

The university offers a range of extra curricular activities and there is something for everyone. There is even the possibility for you to start your own club, if nothing takes your fancy and this ensures that students are able to meet new people, away from their studies, that share similar interests. Even in regards to my course, the societies organise regular social events and meals out so that you can socialise with your peers and make friends. The tutors on my course are very supportive and they are knowledgeable about their field of study. I am thoroughly enjoying my time at university.

The facilities are great as is the city. The course is hard for sure but can't fault the uni. The campus is big and spread out within the city which makes you feel integrated and part of the city on a daily basis.

Great University with an excellent student's union. The university halls of residence are well kept and spacious. The lecturers are great and only a small minority are below par in terms of bias and amount of content. There's lots of events including a multitude of free ones and a university cinema room where you can see cult classics for 3.50 or free.

Sheffield is a great place to study, the whole city is orientated towards students so there is always something to be doing! The university is so helpful with anything and everything you could need. The careers service is a really good part because they help you with getting work experience or a part time job whilst you are on campus.

The su is the best part of the university offering a variety of services and societies. The career service is very helpful providing plenty of resources and helping students every step of the way to improve cvs and direct and guide students towards career goals. The chemistry department is very good, offering students loads of oppurtunities to gain skills in volunteering Etc. The lectures are very well taught with plenty of recsources made available online or in the library or even provided by pecturers themselves.

Career service is perfect, everyone who works there is really experienced. They offer the greatest facilities and easiest access and student support.

The university campus has great facilieties and lectureres. You can do both practical and theory in the university. My course is very broad and will interest students with a variety of hobbies and interests.

Sheffield university is located city center, the surrounding equipments are really good, good student apartment, food hall, restaurant, supermarket,shopping street etc. and Sheffield university have top 1 student union in I'm, which provide variety service for student, such as job center, sport, supermarket, property finder, tickets room, milk tea shop, organic food shop and everything, it is very lucky studies here. University have 3 big libraries, information comments, western bank and the diamond.

I am doing my MSc at University of Sheffield. The campus is amazing, my Department's building looks like a castle and there is a beautiful park just next door to it. My course is very well structured, with a good ratio of lab work: taught modules. The Students Union is not no.1 Su in UK for nothing... it s really good, with a great variety of events to choose from each week. Social Sport is a great idea if you wanna do sports but not be in a team. I receive e-mails each week from the Career Service with jobs and PHd opportunities. Overall, it is a very good uni, with quite good organisation from what i ve experienced until now.

the location is really great, its like city and countryside combined. theres lots of student opportunities because there are so many students here

I am doing my bachelor's In mechatronics and robotics engineering and TBH the University of Shef is one of the best university for this course.The student Life is extremely good here In Sheffield and is a perfect place to study,do research and enjoy your life!

This is a fanatastic university which caters for all in terms of excellent academics and fantastic facilities. Our Student Union is world renowned and makes Sheffield worth coming to for that alone!

The university campus is lovely and is currently having a revamp to make it more sociable and more accessible to a wider range of people. The SU has ranked 1st in the UK for the last 10 years and it hosts volunteering, cafes, multiple eating places and a great nightclub. The careers service will help you find a part time job and you can sign up to weekly emails about graduate and internship opportunities based on a sector or multiple sectors of your choosing. The uni is 5 minutes from the centre of town and is in close relation to the Peak District.

Everything is expensive, everyone is awkward and lecturers aren't the most helpful/reliable people. Sports facilities are the worst. You fight with the whole of Uni for one indoor court.

Fantastic for engineering and similar STEM courses, however contact hours are poor for humanities subjects notably politics

This University has an amazing students union with great nights out such as pop tarts. The campus has good facilities and is really easy to get around.

Campus is a great central location with many facilities. The inclusivity for people from less fortunate backgrounds is faultless and there are always new opportunities to do anything from volunteering to trying new sports.

The campus, facilities and student union are all amazing. I do psychology and we have access to a MRI Machine the medical equipment is some of the best in the UK. The SU is also fantastic as there are 2 clubs which frequently sell out every week. The organisation of the university is ok there is room for improvement.
