Everything is very well organised, particularly within the SU, there are so many services that can be utilised that I'll never even get round to using. The careers service has been very helpful and easy to book appointments with regarding just about anything.

The campus has a geat location, easily to get access through tram and bus. The facilities are very complete, every department has a unique touch. The building that amaze me the most is "The Diamond" which, named after it's original architecture and design, is not only beautiful in the outside, but in the inside concentrates well organized laboratories, lecture theaters, study rooms, library, computer rooms, etc.

at Sheffield the students union is absolutely amazing with cheap drinks and good student nights as well as good support when it’s needed. My experience has been well organised and I love my department (Philosophy), all the academic and non-academic staff are really friendly and always happy to help!

The facilities are second to none, with the libraries having extensive resources and the teaching rooms being modern and fitted with the latest modcons. Would definitely recommend for English Literature at both BA and MA.

Lovely university with a great Students Union building. Student experience here is amazing and I’ve had a lot of positive experiences whilst studying here. The university itself is very active and hosts a lot of events and campaigns so you’re constantly on your feet! Never a dull moment here in Sheffield.

Teaching is very qualitative and student experience is great. You can access all the materials very fast online or at one of the 4 libraries in campus. I don't even know when the first year past.

Uni of Sheffield has a great student union whose focused on the student experience. The university motto is based on being international and it is true to its word. Many of your peers will come from all over the world and they all bring a unique perspective to the classroom making discussions stimulating. The Passion of the university is shown not only in class but also in the hundreds of extracurricular activities one can partake in.

The University of Sheffield has offered a home away from home for me as an international student. Before arrival, the support provided to ease my visa processing was exceptional. On arrival, the introduction week was very well organized and offered a great opportunity to make friends and get acquainted with the city and school.

The University of Sheffield is a home away from home for me as an international student. The support offered prior to my arrival ensured everything ran smoothly. On arrival, the settling process was very exciting thanks to the introduction week programs set by the students union. The residence life program also ensures we are able to make friends and take part in activities.

As an international student, Uni of Sheffield is home away from home. The facilities in my department (ScHARR) are exceptional. The support from both the teaching and the nimon-teaching staff enables us to excel in all aspects of our academics. Aside from curricula matters, societies and sports are a core for me. The residence life as well ensures the whole ides of home away from home is complete with family and friends.

provided me with a better experience of university life. The staff and students are all friendly, the course is brilliant, the social life is great and the campus provides a safe and friendly environment to live in. So far I’ve enjoyed the experience but still trying to get my time management in control due to my other commitments, such as family. The resources are available either online or in the library where I can get a support through StudySkills sessions.

Fantastic campus located near green parks, shops and bars. The students union hosted brilliant nights out and events. Although the halls were a tad pricey and s short walk from the main campus they were beautifully done

Professors are okay - I feel like they don't hold attention in class very well and sometimes seem a little apathetic. However, student life experience is phenomenal - the Union has great amenities and the school in general (including the Union, the Edge, etc.) holds fantastic events that people genuinely love.

So far I have had a great first year at the university, the sports facilities and Student Union are really great, which makes life as a student on campus really enjoyable. It seems that everyone I meet at the uni genuinely really like it there.

The university has a brilliant city campus filled with many high quality facilities. There are lots of places to study in silence or do group work in project rooms. Located next to the peaks, it provides anyone who likes the outdoors plenty to choose from. The students union is outstanding, they nice design and bright and vibrant interior which makes you feel at home.

The student union has lots of events every months and there is also a program called Give it a go which let students with no experience try out sports and activities. It also has trips to cities around the UK. Nights out at uni is also good. If u like 80s and 90s songs they have it every Saturday on Poptarts!

Sheffield is an extremely inclusive university that has something for everyone. It has a wide range of courses, and is considered one of the best universities in the country in many fields, and in my opinion it justifies this accolade. The facilities are modern, with several high-tech libraries you can use to study, and plenty of IT resources available for students. In addition, the social aspect of the uni is amazing, with hundreds of societies as well as ‘give it a go’ sessions and Social Sport for those who want to try a new sport or activity without committing to a society. The uni offers extensive careers services, to help you secure a work placement and enhance your CV and employability.

I think the campus is great; the main buildings where lectures are held - like the arts tower, hicks and the richard roberts building - are all near to each other and all near to the students union. The main issue is that Sheffield is extremely hilly, so the management school is up a massive hill and when you want to go to goodwin to do sport, you have to walk up a massive hill (northumberland road) which makes it tiring before you even start exercise/lectures. Also, ranmoor/endcliffe are not even slightly close to the university buildings so you’ll have to walk like 25 minutes everyday or stay at Allen Court which has its own issues as the party life sucks and there is constant building work. Lastly, we’re better than Hallam even though we don’t own our own sports facilities.

Lovely campus with great facilities. The students union has plenty of space and is full of different things. My course is really fun and the other students are lovely.

The course is brilliant, the lectures useful and the libraries are stunning. My only issue so far has been the colossal affect the strikes have had on my learning.

I'm studying in this university as an exchange student. It's such a great university where you can meet people from all over the world and meet great professors. There are a series of events and activities throughout the year, so you never get bored!

Good cheap nightlife. The staff are mostly friendly. Some of the lecturers need to retire as they are clearly too old or just not suited to lecturing at all as they show no enthusiasm towards teaching.

The campus is well layed out and close together so everything is within a maximum of a ten minute walk. The students union is centered in the middle with the libraries close by. The SU is voted one of the best in the country which is reflected as you walk in
