All the staff were very helpful, very good facilities, my experience, for the most part, has been very enjoyable. However, not much support in terms of essay writing/one-to-one classes which I can find. Both union as well maintained, keep and host fun events.

My campus is the Atrium in Cardiff, huge, tidy complex with enough room for everyone. It's always open for students. Advice Zone is always helpful, staff is polite. Everything is well organized. Kitchen/cantina/food department could be a lot cheaper though.

It's obvious that my university is very supportive when it comes to LGBT students, they are always part of whatever is happening. From events, over to Instagram posts all the way to LGBT flags.

I am an international student from Croatia and everything is going well so far. Lecturers do understand that I need to travel few thousand miles to get home and therefore are always flexible when it comes to dates and all. Advice Zone is, again, very helpful with all of the paperwork I need etc.

I am in my third year of the photojournalism course at USW and I love it. The lecturers are so incredibly helpful and always availble to help students. They also gives us lots of opportunities to get real life experiences by working with a variety of different people. It is a very practical course that prepares all the students for getting a job after university. There are a lot of different modules that let you explore which areas of photojournalism interest you the most and in second and third year we are able to create our own projects.

Photojournalism is a great course taught by incredible lecturers that have been in the business themselves so they can pass on advice and experiences that they have had.

The entire course is focused around what you will do when you leave, rather than just trying to get you a good degree. There's something for everyone and the lecturers often learn new material to aid in the project that you are working on.

the structure is tailored to making you ready to enter the workplace with the neccessary experience, as well as develop your skills as a photojournalist and have the knowledge of how to work as a freelancer. The lecturers guide you to develop your own ideas, and support you when needed. The lecturers have industry experience and are helpful, and almost always available. The theory module lecturers have been a tad ropey over the years, but the other lecturers will endeavour to help when they can, and are willing to take things further up the "chain" to try to get help.

Course module review - Reconstructing Change, 06/04/2014

Brilliant module with loads of interesting topics especially for those students, like me who wish to have a furture in coastal environments.  Lecturers are amazing and very friendly and willing to help although they don't like to offer to much support for exam revision as they believe this is down to the student.  Hard module to revise for due to lack of past papers but still good all the same.
